The video appears to show that Vaught tried a few times to get someone to open the door before a handgun is pointed out the door and a shot is fired at her as she ducked on the front porch.

The revelation is just the latest example of educators and administrators force-feeding critical race theory and progressive political ideology to young, impressionable students — often while the social engineering campaign goes completely unnoticed by parents.
Then, according to the lesson plan, which the school confirmed as real in an email to TheBlaze, students were asked to view a chart describing different types of oppression as well as “privileged groups” and “targeted groups” and assess which category they belonged in.
The chart listed five types of oppression for the students’ consideration: Racism, sexism, religious oppression, heterosexism, and xenophobia.
The “privileged groups” outlined in the chart consisted of individuals who are white, male, Christian, heterosexual, and were born in the United States. The “targeted groups” described individuals who are any ethnicity besides white, who are female, who are Muslim or have any religious affiliation besides Christianity, identify as LGBT, and were not born in the United States.

Dr. Seuss, or Theodor Seuss Geisel, wrote dozens of books over the course of his famed career, many of which have been translated into numerous languages and are still sold in more than 100 countries, the AP noted. Geisel was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on March 2, 1904, and died in 1991, but he still remains popular today. In 2020, Geisel posthumously earned an estimated $33 million before taxes.

Somehow, the foundational works of radical Marxism never seem to be on the list of books to be canceled.
No reasonable person, and certainly no one claiming intellectual credentials, would argue that Karl Marx’s works should be banned. But some of them certainly satisfy the new criteria.
Marx’s essay “On the Jewish Question,” for example, is a staple of college courses on political philosophy, because it summarizes his view of the limits of political freedom, and is easier to digest than his mammoth Capital. Yet the essay is also crudely antisemitic, which is barely mitigated by the fact that Marx himself was Jewish.
In the constant debate over whether the Founders of the United States, and the liberty they conceived, are to be rejected because some owned slaves, there is little discussion about how a basic text of Marxism is largely an antisemitic screed.
The right thing to do with texts that are tainted by prejudice is to engage with them critically. That was once considered both praiseworthy and interesting.

It is perfectly reasonable for a city to ensure safety in construction by focusing on actual safety concerns. But hitting a homeowner over and over again with fines that can range up to $25,000 per violation—even while they are trying to comply—and failing to provide a legitimate recourse to appeal to a neutral party, does not advance any legitimate safety interests.
All it does is rack up money for the government and deprive property owners of their due process rights. Joe is fighting to change this system and ensure that homeowners are treated with dignity and due process.
‘Hard to explain’: Scientists struggle to figure out plunging COVID cases
Robert Cook, a professor of epidemiology at the University of Florida, admitted that it’s “hard to explain exactly what is the contributing the most” to the plunge.
“I do not think the country has reached herd immunity (although it is possible that a subset of the population who go out to bars, etc, has),” he said.
Some health officials have proposed that the U.S. may indeed be reaching sufficient levels of immunity necessary to naturally blunt the virus’s progress. That argument was advanced by Johns Hopkins Prof. Marty Makary in a Feb. 19 op-ed in the Wall Street Journal.
“At the current trajectory, I expect Covid will be mostly gone by April, allowing Americans to resume normal life,” Makary wrote.
1600 Migrants Arrested over Three Days in Single Texas Border Sector
The arrests came in connection to more than 25 human smuggling interdictions, Chief Skero wrote. Most of the migrants arrested were single adults. He did not disclose the nationalities of the arrested migrants. Approximately half of the more than 1,600 arrests occurred in the Eagle Pass area, an official told Breitbart Texas in response to an inquiry.
Skero stated they arrested two criminal aliens in the groups.
One of those, 49-year-old Roman Gonzalez-Florez, is a previously deported rapist.

108 illegal immigrants released by Border Patrol in Texas test positive for coronavirus, officials say
Felipe Romero, a spokesperson for Brownsville, said Wednesday that the 108 positives represent 6.3% of the number of total migrants who have been rapid-tested at the city’s main bus station, where they are being released by the Border Patrol. Rapid testing of the individuals began there on Jan. 25.
Migrant families who tested positive and spoke to that news organization at the bus station said they were waiting to travel to places such as Maryland and New Jersey.
Miriam Izaguirre, a 35-year-old from Honduras who also tested positive, told Noticias Telemundo Investiga that she planned to travel by bus to Houston.
US Investigating Human Smuggling Link to California Crash That Killed 13
“Special Agents from Homeland Security Investigations San Diego responded to the scene of today’s fatal crash in El Centro, California, and have initiated a human smuggling investigation,” an official with the agency, known as ICE, told The Epoch Times via email.
At least 10 of those killed in the crash were from Mexico, according to Roberto Valasco, director of North American affairs for Mexico’s Foreign Relations Department.
Those injured ranged in age from 16 to 55 and were taken to various hospitals in the area with injuries ranging from fractures to life-threatening head wounds.

Kissinger praised the Trump administration’s diplomatic corps for its strategy of pitting major Sunni Muslim countries in the Middle East against Iran.

The Biden administration has shown little interest in heeding Kissinger’s advice. Biden has elevated several Obama-era diplomats who argued for the Iran deal to senior positions, such as climate czar John Kerry, Iran envoy Robert Malley, and nominee for undersecretary of defense Colin Kahl.
Even with strong bipartisan opposition from Congress, the White House has said it still hopes to reengage in nuclear talks with Iran in the coming months.
Cuomo addresses misconduct allegations, says won’t resign, ‘never touched anyone inappropriately’
The Democratic governor’s remarks are the first since three women in recent days have accused him of inappropriate behavior.
Cuomo, who is facing calls from Republicans and fellow Democrats to resign, said he has “learned an important lesson about his own behavior around women.”
Cuomo said he will “fully cooperate” with the state attorney general’s investigation into sexual harassment allegations, according to the Associated Press.

Bipartisan senators introduce bill to strip Biden of war powers
Sens. Tim Kaine and Todd Young on Wednesday introduced bipartisan legislation that would repeal decades-old authorizations for the use of military force in the Middle East, amid escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran in the region.
Kaine (D-Va.) and Young (R-Ind.) unveiled the measure as lawmakers have expressed frustration with President Joe Biden’s decision to launch airstrikes in Syria last week without first seeking congressional approval.
It also comes just hours after an Iraqi military base housing U.S. troops and civilian contractors was hit by rocket attacks.
The bill would repeal the 1991 and 2002 authorizations that cleared the way for a prolonged military conflict in Iraq, culminating in calls from Democrats and Republicans alike to end the so-called “forever wars” in the region.
Biden DHS Makes Dangerous Illegal Aliens Twitter Alert Account Private
The Department of Homeland Security changed its Immigration and Customs Enforcement Alert (@ICEAlert) Twitter account to private. The social media account was previously used to spotlight dangerous illegal migrants living in the United States after being freed by sanctuary cities.
The ICE Alert account is now “protected.” Protected tweets are only visible to Twitter users who are allowed to follow that account. The tweets cannot be reposted.
Jon Feere, a former senior employee at ICE under President Donald Trump, said in a series of tweets that the Biden administration locked ICE’s public safety alert account, which was used to inform the public about the criminal illegal aliens freed by sanctuary cities.
The social media account was created under the Obama administration in 2013 when Joe Biden was vice president. The account was developed by ICE under the Trump administration.

Boko Haram Deadline Expires to Execute Kidnapped Christian Pastor in Nigeria
As Breitbart News reported, on Christmas Eve 2020, a band of armed Boko Haram militants stormed the mostly Christian village of Pemi, near Chibok, in Borno State, on trucks and motorcycles, opening fire on villagers and killing eleven.
The jihadists set buildings ablaze, including a church, and stole food and medical supplies.
On that occasion, the raiders also kidnapped Pastor Yakuru of the Church of the Brethren (EYN) and have held him captive during the ensuing months.
For its part, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has also urged President Buhari to order the Nigerian military to rescue Pastor Yakuru from his Boko Haram captors before he is executed.

8 injured in stabbing terror attack in Sweden
Swedish police called the incident a “suspected terrorist crime” and confirmed eight people have been injured in the attack. Police shot the suspect – described only as a man in his 20s – and took him into police custody.

The incident was first described as “attempted murder” but was later designated a suspected terrorism incident.

French photojournalist in coma after youth gang attack
He was found bleeding from his ears after he sustained “very severe” head injuries in the attack.
A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted aggravated murder and a second suspect has been identified.
The charged suspect is accused of beating the photographer with his fist and then using his own camera as a weapon against him.
The public prosecutor said Mr Lantenois was targeted “because he was a journalist” and had been trying to take photographs of individuals when he was spotted and set upon.
He had gone to the area with a reporter amid reports that dozens of young people armed with bats were preparing for a mass brawl.

Greece earthquake shakes shop and collapses buildings
A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck near the Greek city of Larissa on Wednesday morning, and was felt across country.
An elderly man had to be rescued from his home in the village of Mesochori, which had partially collapsed, but there have been no reported serious injuries.
Rockets Hit Iraq Air Base Hosting U.S. Troops Ahead Of Papal Visit
The missiles struck the Ain Al-Asad Air Base in the western province of Anbar at 7:20 a.m. local time on March 3, spokesman Colonel Wayne Marotto said.
The Iraqi military said the attack did not cause significant losses and that security forces had found the launch pad used in the incident.
AFP quoted Western security sources as saying the rockets were Iranian-made Arash models.
“One civilian contractor died of a heart attack during the attack,” a high-level security source told the news agency, adding that he could not confirm the contractor’s nationality.
The attack comes after a February 16 rocket salvo on a military base in Iraq’s northern Kurdistan region killed one civilian contractor and wounded a U.S. service member and other coalition troops.
