Boy abandoned at Mississippi Goodwill prompts Christmas gift donations, spotlights pandemic-era child abuse

In an update, Police Chief Macon Moore said the boy has been identified, though his name will not be released, and he will be reunited with family when CPS “determines this is proper.”
A suspect was arrested across state lines in Memphis, Tenn. Surveillance video at the Goodwill showed a masked man holding the child’s hand before leaving the boy and departing with a woman in a red vehicle.
CPS said they’ve received an “astounding” increase in calls from around the country since the story was picked up by national outlets, and that Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center in Southaven, a city with a population of 55,000 in DeSoto County, has been handling the case.
U.S. Space Force unveils lapel pins for U.S. Air Force uniforms

U.S. SPACE FORCE
The lapel pins are meant to identify Space Force personnel as the new service branch, begun in 2019, undertakes development of distinctive uniforms.
“These Space Force lapel pins will identify you as Space Professionals when you’re in your Air Force service dress uniform until we’re able to release our own Space Force uniform,” Chief Master Sgt. Roger A. Towberman, senior enlisted advisor of the branch, said in a press release.
“It doesn’t mean we’ll carry this over to a Space Force uniform when it’s designed, but right now, this is how we’re going to distinguish our uniform a little bit more,” Towberman said.
Shocking video shows ‘Miracle’ the German Shepherd being thrown off balcony by Florida woman

A German Shepherd survived without serious injury after being thrown off a second-story balcony by a woman during an incident Monday at a Florida motel.
Authorities were called to a Motel 6 in Daytona Beach after a woman allegedly threatened to jump from the balcony herself, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office said.
The woman was accused of attacking a maid, according to officials.
The sheriff’s office identified the suspect as Allison Murphy, 35. She was arrested and charged with animal cruelty, as well as with resisting arrest with violence.
Silicon Valley’s woes escalate as Texas files new antitrust suit against Google

In a video posted to Twitter, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said the suit alleges Google engaged in “anticompetitive conduct, exclusionary practices and deceptive misrepresentation.
“This Goliath of a company is using its power to manipulate the market, destroy competition and harm you, the consumer,” Paxton said. “These actions harm every person in America.”
This latest lawsuit is separate from an antitrust case that the Justice Department and 11 state attorneys general filed in October over Google’s power in the online search market.
NYC awards $47 million in culture grants while shuttering small businesses and slashing police funding
The city’s Department of Cultural Affairs announced Tuesday that it would be giving $47 million in grants to more than 1,000 culturally focused nonprofit organizations, the New York Times reported.
Some of the beneficiaries include the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, the Apollo Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Museum of Chinese in America — all of which will receive more than $100,000.
It comes as small businesses all over the city remain shuttered under stringent coronavirus lockdown mandates and just months since the city opted to slash the police budget by $1 billion.
The Times even noted that the news comes amid “a year filled with layoffs and budget cuts.”

The woman, whose name is being withheld, suffered an anaphylactic reaction that required hospitalization and monitoring, and will not be receiving the second dose of the vaccine, officials said during a press briefing on Wednesday.
She had no prior history of allergies and took a Benadryl to relieve the symptoms but it did not work.
Once she was admitted to Bartlett Hospital’s emergency room, her symptoms resolved within moments of receiving epinephrine. She also received Pepcid and Benadryl via an intravenous drip, according to a press release.
She is in stable condition and is scheduled to be released later Wednesday.
Minn. Man Prosecuted By Sen. Klobuchar Walks Free

A Minnesota man whose case was prosecuted by now-Democrat Sen. Amy Klobuchar is getting his life-sentence commuted. On Tuesday, the state’s Board of Pardons shortened Myon Burrell’s sentence to 20-years, which he will finish out under supervised release.
Burrell was convicted at the age of 16 for the killing of Tyesha Edwards who was hit by a stray bullet in her home.
Gov. Tim Walz, a major player in the decision, insisted “justice is not served by sending a child to prison for life for a horrible mistake.”
Professors pen open letter condemning ‘inhumane,’ ‘abstinence-only’ COVID policies

Several months since the 2020-2021 school year started, and after nine months of lockdowns, an open letter penned by Dr. Stefan Baral of Johns Hopkins University and Julia Marcus of Harvard Medical School urges universities to loosen up some COVID-19 restrictions, arguing that policies leaving students isolated are doing more harm than good.
The letter observes that as restrictions are now, universities are forcing students to adopt “radical and unsustainable changes in their behavior that go well beyond avoidance of large indoor parties, including long-term maintenance of six feet of distance from all other people, at the threat of swift and unnecessarily punitive disciplinary action.”
“This abstinence-only approach to social contact is inhumane, unrealistic and likely to backfire,” the academics claim, adding that social isolation may be particularly detrimental to “marginalized students, whose mental health may be heavily impacted by the loss of positive social connections.”
Ted Cruz on Masks & No Travel Even After a Vaccine: “This Is A Bizarre, Lunatic, Totalitarian Cult”

We have come a long way from a two-week lockdown to stop the spread, haven’t we? We’ve had lockdowns. We’ve closed schools. We’ve driven small businesses under. We’ve prevented people from going to work.
We’ve told people not to see sick loved ones in the hospital, not to travel, to stay away from gyms, from barbershops, and from gatherings with families — but has any of it worked?
Yesterday, the biggest COVID-19 hotspot in America was California.
There were more than 35,000 cases there. That is nearly 16,000 more cases than the #2 state.
California was the first state in the nation to have a lockdown. They’ve had a mask mandate in place since June. They’ve consistently had some of the tightest restrictions in the country since the beginning and guess what?
They decimated their economy and in return, they are the #1 coronavirus hotspot in America by a lot.
Government Minimizing the Most Prolific Hack of Its Systems in History

The damage assessment is in its infancy but given the number of agencies targeted and the length of time the criminals had before they were detected, it must be considerable.
While the government has been downplaying the hack in public, behind the scenes there’s been a flurry of worry and activity.
Chillingly, the hack was discovered almost by accident — and months after it had begun.

Negotiators near agreement on long-delayed COVID-19 aid bill

It’s the first significant legislative response to the pandemic since the landmark CARES Act in March, which delivered $1.8 trillion in aid and more generous jobless benefits and direct payments to individuals.
Since then, Democrats have repeatedly called for ambitious further federal steps to provide relief and battle the pandemic, while Republicans have sought to more fully reopen the economy and to avoid padding the government’s $27 trillion debt.
But President-elect Joe Biden is eager for an aid package to prop up the economy and deliver direct aid to the jobless and hungry, even though it falls short of what Democrats want.
He called the emerging package “an important down payment” and promised more help next year.
Hemingway: Corporate Media Is Hiding The Chinese Spy Story Because They’re Compromised

Corporate media is deliberately refusing to cover California Democrat Eric Swalwell’s relationship with a Chinese spy despite his position on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Federalist Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway said on Fox News on Tuesday.
“I think one of the reasons why the media haven’t covered this like they should have is that the media themselves are one of the institutions that seem to be compromised by China,” Hemingway said.
While China was successful in infiltrating multiple Democrat politicians through an agent named Christine Fang, who gathered information to send back to the Chinese Communist Party, Hemingway noted that outlets such as The New York Times have yet to inform their readers of this significant national security breach.
6 First Gun Control Measures To Expect From A Biden Administration

Biden’s plan lists effectively every gun control measure ever proposed: banning “assault weapons,” banning “high-capacity” magazines, limiting the number of guns an American can purchase, holding manufacturers liable for the criminal misuse of their products, and many, many more.
Out of the myriad options a Biden administration will have to infringe on our constitutional protections, which will they choose first?
Based on my experience with clients and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (AFT) as a firearms attorney, some recent news events, and a bit of firearm-industry intuition, I think the first things a Biden administration will do regarding guns if given the chance are:
6 Experts Predict The Worst-Case Scenario With China Under A Feeble Biden Foreign Policy

On the campaign trail in May, Biden downplayed any problems the United States may have with China. “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man … I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They’re not competition for us,” he said.
In an October “60 Minutes” interview, Biden upgraded the Chinese threat level from “not competition” to our “biggest competitor,” saving the actual “biggest threat” label for Russia.
Whether you interpret his silence on China as actively pro-China, or merely feeble on China, Biden’s weak stance is cause for concern as Beijing shows no slowing down in their pursuit of becoming the dominant global superpower.
I asked a group of foreign policy experts what they envision as the worst-case scenario for China’s behavior under a Biden administration. Here’s what they had to say.
Biden’s Deputy Chief Of Staff Preaches Unity And Bipartisanship While Calling GOP Lawmakers ‘F***ers’

Biden’s incoming Deputy Chief of Staff Jen O’Malley Dillon sat down with the glossy women’s magazine Glamour on Tuesday, where she joined the ranks of other Democrats and media elites who have capitalized on insulting and treating Republicans and Trump supporters beneath contempt.
She began by lauding Biden for being “able to connect with people over this sense of unity” and promote bipartisanship, but quickly moved on to insult Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republican party.
O’Malley Dillon said political collaboration would not be “easy” due to polarization, while completely ignoring the fact that her own comments were polarizing.

Biden points to ‘precedent-busting appointments’ as he rolls out Buttigieg pick

Biden praised Buttigieg, who emerged as a rising star from the crowded field of Democratic presidential candidates despite his relative obscurity heading into the race, as someone who has the “vision of a next generation leader, with the experience and the temperament to lead change today.”
“The Department of Transportation services a critical mission with a critical responsibility, particularly in this administration,” Biden said during an event from his transition’s home base in Delaware.
“We need someone who knows how to work with state, local and federal agencies.”
Tucker Carlson Excellently Points Out How Big of a Threat George Soros Really Is to America

Carlson describes one of Soros’s biggest victories to be George Gascon, the Los Angeles politician that would become district attorney in the city. Soros funded Gascon, helping him get into office, and influencing the city in ways that would force it to collapse.
“Traditionally a prosecutor’s job is to enforce the law, but Soros wanted rigid ideologues who would refuse to do that, and instead let murderers and rapists go free, while allowing society itself to degrade and collapse,” said Carlson.
“In the most recent election, Soros backed a candidate for district attorney called George Gascon,” he continued. “Soros sent more than $2 million on Gascon’s campaign.
The 90-year-old Hungarian was Gascon’s biggest single donor, by far. In the end Gascon won. What happened next was the entire point of the exercise.”

Rand Paul: Voter fraud ‘happened’ and election was in ‘many ways stolen’

“The fraud happened,” the Kentucky Republican said during a Wednesday Senate hearing on election security.
“The election in many ways was stolen, and the only way it’ll be fixed is by in the future reinforcing the laws.”
“We can’t just say, ‘It didn’t happen,’” Paul said about fraud allegations across the country.
“We can’t just say, ‘Oh, 4,000 people voted in Nevada that were noncitizens, and we’re just going to ignore it.’”

Amistad Project unveils report on election funding From Facebook founder Zuckerberg | NTD
Amistad Project is holding a press conference Wednesday to release a report allegedly exposing the dark money apparatus of 10 nonprofit organizations funded by five foundations whose intent was to fundamentally undermine the electoral system.
The group alleges that hundreds of millions of dollars were injected into the election, with $500 million coming from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Other dark money organizations identified as helping to “privatize elections” are The Democracy Fund, New Venture Fund, Skoll Foundation, and The Knight Foundation.
Their counterparts – CTCL, the Center for Electronic Innovation Research, the Center for Civic Design, the National Vote at Home Institute, the Center for Secure and Modern Elections, and Rock the Vote – played a key role in the distribution of these funds.

Rep. explains bill giving Texans a vote to secede
Commentary/Opinion:

But, if there’s support, CAN the state Constitutionally take that step? And, SHOULD it?
Glenn discusses with Rep. Biedermann exactly what a “yes” vote on the bill would mean, and why Brexit is the perfect example for how the Lone Star state could move forward in its fight against America’s new, controlling government.
AOC says Pelosi, Schumer need to go, but warns of Democratic power vacuum

“I do think we need new leadership in the Democratic Party,” Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said.
“I think one of the things that I have struggled with, I think that a lot of people struggle with, is the internal dynamics of the House has made it such that there [are] very little options for succession.”
But even with Pelosi indicating this upcoming term could be her last, Ocasio-Cortez said there are no viable solutions to replace her because the party’s current leaders have concentrated power in leadership “with a lack of real grooming on next generation of leadership.”
GOP Sen. Johnson says experts must examine and investigate Dominion Voting Systems

“The most difficult allegations to assess involve vulnerabilities in voting machines and the software used,” said Johnson during his opening statement.
“In order to effectively determine the extent to which voting machines were subject to nefarious intrusion or other vulnerabilities, computer science experts must be given the opportunity to examine these allegations,” he continued.
Johnson cited letters from his Democratic colleagues that questioned the safety and security of Dominion Voting System machines.

Hong Kong lawmakers propose payments for Chinese vaccine takers

Dec. 16 (UPI) — Hong Kong is expected to receive 1 million shots of a mainland Chinese COVID-19 vaccine, but the city’s politicians could be meeting with public resistance to inoculations and are looking at paying people to get the shots.
Lawmakers who support Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said Wednesday that criticism is rising in the city as more residents express skepticism about the vaccine from mainland supplier Sinovac Biotech.
“If there is nothing to motivate residents to be vaccinated, it will be the end of Hong Kong,” said Leung Che-cheung of the pro-establishment Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong, according to the South China Morning Post.
“So if [$387] is not enough, then give them [$645].”

Eleven of the 14 defendants were present at the Special Assize Court of Paris when the guilty verdicts were announced by a panel of judges, ending a trial that lasted for more than three months.
Three others, including the wife of one of the attackers, were tried in absentia in connection with the attacks on Jan. 7 and Jan. 9, 2015.
The main attackers — brothers Said and Chérif Kouachi and accomplice Amedy Coulibaly — were killed by police.
German ambassador to U.S. urges quick resolution of aircraft subsidy dispute
Emily Haber told an online event hosted by the embassy it was important to settle the long-standing dispute given the harmful impact of the coronavirus pandemic on aircraft manufacturers in both regions and moves by China to rapidly develop its own commercial aircraft.
“It is one of the issues that needs to be solved very early on,” Haber said, underscoring the need to “get the priorities right, especially at a time when aircraft industries are really suffering from the consequences of the pandemic.”
Failure of Europe and the United States to resolve this relatively minor issue would send a clear signal to China, Russia and other countries about the ability of the historic allies to work together on other, larger issues, she said.
UK ports disruption – importers call for urgent inquiry by MPs

The delays mean consumers may have to pay higher Christmas prices and companies may be unable to build up stockpiles of goods to see them through Brexit disruption, the retail and food and drinks industry warned, in a letter to the chairs of parliament’s transport and international trade committees.
The cost of importing goods has rocketed in recent weeks after the pandemic knocked demand and production around the world out of sync.
Shipping executives have reported shortages of containers in China, pushing up prices just as British companies build up Brexit stockpiles.
Retailers ranging from Ikea to The Entertainer and AO.com have all reported stocks being held up at ports. The Honda car plant in Swindon was forced to halt production for two days last week after it ran short of imported parts. On Wednesday, Dixons said it was also experiencing port delays, though problems were not yet filtering through to stores.

Public prosecutor Dominique Alzéari said that the man is originally from Mayotte, a French-governed island that lies between the continent of Africa and the island of Madagascar.
Alzéari added that the man had been homeless in France and was living a nomadic lifestyle, travelling the country and had been recently questioned by police in the Izards district, north of Toulouse.

Mike Rowe: I Don’t Want To Pay For Your Useless College Degree

In a Facebook post Monday, TV host and personality Mike Rowe denounced student loan forgiveness and encouraged people to reconsider taking on debt for a four-year degree that may not even land them a job.
“Many it seems, suspect that I’ll be supportive of these efforts since I’ve written at length about the outrageous rise of college tuition and the scandalous ways in which hundreds of thousands of students have been conned into borrowing ridiculous sums of money to purchase degrees that never lead to an actual job,” Rowe wrote.“
Well, for the record, I do not support student loan forgiveness,” he added.
“Tuition will never come back to Earth if we bail out those who borrowed more than they could repay,” he wrote.
COVID 19 is the GATEWAY DRUG to global socialism
The COVID 19 vaccine may be here, but it will be a LONG road before our lives return to normal — if they ever do at all.

COVID 19 has become the gateway drug they need to make their final push.
