Two East Bay men charged with cyberstalking, sexually extorting children; feds say there are at least 21 victims, youngest was 11 years old
Delaney Tang, 21, of Oakland, and Vincenz Sison, of Concord, were charged last week with solicitation of child pornography and conspiracy to commit cyberstalking, two federal offenses.
The child pornography charge alone carries a minimum term of five years and a maximum 20-year penalty, along with a fine of up to $250,000, court records show.
The criminal complaint describes Tang as the primary offender, alleging that he reached out to girls online for child sexual abuse material, and threatened numerous times to “expose” them if they didn’t film themselves committing various sex acts.
Sison, meanwhile, is described by authorities as an accomplice; the complaint alleges that when the victims would block Tang’s social media accounts, he would ask Sison to reach out to them with threats.
Tens of Thousands of Unsealed Ballots Arrived in Michigan County, All for Democrats: Lawsuit
“At approximately 4:30 a.m., tens of thousands of ballots were brought in and placed on eight long tables. Unlike the other ballots, these boxes were brought in from the rear of the room,” a sworn witness affidavit signed by Andrew Sitto, a poll challenger, states.
“The same procedure was performed on the ballots that arrived at approximately 4:30 a.m., but I specifically noticed that every ballot I observed was cast for Joe Biden.”
“I heard other challengers say that several vehicles with out-of-state license plates pulled up to the TCF Center a little before 4:30 a.m. and unloaded boxes of ballots,” Sitto testified.
Sitto’s witness statement is one of six cited in a lawsuit filed in Michigan on Monday by the Great Lakes Justice Center

Suspect allegedly tries to rob pizzeria with BB gun. Owner chases him around the restaurant, restrains him until cops arrive.
According to WTIC-TV, a police spokesperson said, “A masked suspect pointed a handgun at the owner of the business and demanded money, The owner disarmed the suspect and chased him around the restaurant where he was apprehended by another employee of the business.
The suspect was restrained until police arrived and placed him under arrest. The firearm was found to be an airsoft gun that had the appearance of a real firearm.”
Authorities arrested Balskus and charged him with robbery first degree, illegal use of a facsimile firearm, criminal trespass second degree, assault third degree, reckless endangerment second degree, criminal attempt to commit larceny sixth degree, breach of peace second degree, and threatening first degree.
Top USAID Official Tells Agency Leadership: ‘There Is No Transition In Place’
The acting deputy administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, John Barsa, told colleagues on Monday that there will be “no transition” until the General Services Administration certifies the election results.
“You should be aware, the only official announcement about an election result that matters is from the head of GSA, so until the head of GSA makes a determination as to who won an election, nothing changes.
There is no transition in place,” Barsa told his colleagues, according to a recording of the call obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The General Services Administration is tasked with determining when an election winner has been “ascertained” and enabling a transition effort thereafter.
Paycheck Protection Program fraud accusations continue to grow
The watchdog said it found instances of loans going to companies created after the pandemic began, businesses that exceed the 500-employee maximum and those listed in a federal “Do Not Pay” database because they already owe money.
On top of that, tens of thousands of organizations may have received more money than they should have based on their headcounts and compensation rates, according to the Journal.
Several hundred investigations into PPP-related fraud have been opened, including nearly 500 suspects and hundreds of millions of dollars of loans, the report said.
Baltimore police shot at while sitting in unmarked surveillance vehicle; suspect fatally wounded: officials
The man, who has not yet been identified “pulled alongside” the officers’ unmarked car, facing in the opposite direction, got out from his the drivers’ side, “and then opened fire into our officers’ surveillance vehicle, striking one of our officers in the upper thigh,” Harrison said.
Two officers were in the vehicle at the time, Harrison said.
“And our officer returned fire while sitting inside of the vehicle, striking the suspect at least more than once,” Harrison told reporters.
Twitter competitor Parler tops App Store for first time
In the wake of the presidential election, the social media app Parler topped Apple’s App Store for the first time over the weekend.
In an email to FOX Business, research firm Apptopia said downloads for the “non-biased, free speech” platform topped 310,000 over the past week, with the peak starting on Nov. 6.
In the week prior, the app had been downloaded just over 150,000 times.
Adam Blacker, VP Insights and Global Alliances at Apptopia, said he anticipates Parler’s “numbers to keep rising for a short while, while adding that another social media app, Parlor, has benefited, perhaps due to name confusion.

Lawsuit alleges election fraud in Detroit, provides sworn affidavits by witnesses
The Great Lakes Justice Center, a nonprofit civil liberties defense organization, announced its lawsuit in a press release, claiming that “Wayne County election officials allowed illegal, unlawful, and fraudulent processing of votes cast in last Tuesday’s election.” Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump in Michigan, winning by 146,119 votes.
The lawsuit seeks to void the results of the election in Wayne County and calls for a do-over.
Witnesses filing sworn affidavits under oath allege that Wayne County elections officials encouraged fraud, including changing legal names and dates on ballots, ballot-harvesting, voter intimidation, and preventing poll watchers from challenging irregularities in the vote-counting process.

Kremlin Awaits Final U.S. Vote Results Before Congratulating President-Elect Biden
As a growing number of world leaders are congratulating U.S. President-elect Joe Biden, the Kremlin says it will wait for the final official results of the election before commenting on its outcome.
Asked why in 2016 President Vladimir Putin had congratulated Republican Donald Trump soon after he had won the Electoral College and beaten Democrat Hillary Clinton, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on November 9: “You can see that there are certain legal procedures that have been announced by the current president.”
“That is why the situations are different and we therefore think it appropriate to wait for an official announcement,” Peskov added.
Russian Military Helicopter Shot Down In Armenia Amid Karabakh Fighting
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry added that it was prepared to pay compensation.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said the Russian Mi-24 helicopter was shot down from the ground by a “man-portable air-defense system” while it was providing air cover to a “vehicle convoy of the 102nd Russian military base on the territory of the Republic of Armenia in the airspace close to the Armenian settlement of Yeraskh near the border with” Azerbaijan’s Naxcivan exclave. The ministry confirmed the casualties.
Russia is a key ally and military supplier of Armenia, which is locked in a conflict with neighboring Azerbaijan over the breakaway Azerbaijani region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Militant Islamists ‘behead more than 50’ in Mozambique

The beheadings are the latest in a series of gruesome attacks that the militants have carried out in gas-rich Cabo Delgado province since 2017.
Up to 2,000 people have been killed and about 430,000 have been left homeless in the conflict in the mainly-Muslim province.
The militants are linked to the Islamic State (IS) group, giving it a foothold in southern Africa.
The group has exploited poverty and unemployment to recruit youth in their fight to establish Islamic rule in the area.
UK ‘house of horrors’ couple found guilty of murdering woman
A month-long trial was told serial killer obsessive Nathan Maynard-Ellis, aged 30, and his partner, 25-year-old David Leesley, cut Julia Rawson’s body into 11 pieces and dumped her remains at two sites near a canal.
Jurors were told the couple’s home in Tipton, West Midlands, had a workbench equipped with tools including an axe, and also contained stuffed creatures, snakes and “gory” home-made horror masks.
Coventry crown court heard Maynard-Ellis met Rawson, aged 42, by chance in a pub in Dudley and took her in a taxi to his flat in May last year.

Hong Kong democrats vow to collectively resign if Beijing seeks to oust any pro-democracy lawmakers over filibustering
The democrats’ decision follows unconfirmed local media reports that Beijing may target four lawmakers for purported Basic Law violations following attempts to filibuster legislation.
“We would like to make use of the mass resignation to reflect our unity [and] to protest against the tyranny of the central and SAR government.”
Democratic Party Chairman Wu Chi-wai said. He added that a decision by Beijing to disqualify lawmakers would reveal that the central authorities “do not respect Hongkongers’ voices and opinions.”
North Korea, Iran, China Among Countries Criticizing US Human Rights Record At UN Meeting
The United States will reportedly undergo a U.N. review of its human rights record Monday.
Countries like North Korea, Iran, China, Turkey and Russia are leading the criticism over issues including systemic racism and immigration policy, per the Associated Press (AP).
Almost 120 countries sought to participate in America’s first review before the main U.N. human rights body in five years, according to the AP.
Every U.N. member state has its human rights record reviewed periodically as part of the U.N.’s Universal Periodic Review, per AP.
In his opening remarks, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Andrew Bremberg said “we are willing to openly acknowledge our shortcomings.”
Representatives of Turkey, a government that still denies the Armenian genocide, said they are concerned about America’s “rising xenophobia and anti-Semitism.”
EU ‘regrettably’ hits U.S. with tariffs, seeks better Biden ties
German Economy Minister Peter Altmaier told the news conference that many EU countries saw Biden’s election victory as a chance for an improvement in ties.
“We will try to get a new start in trade policy between the United States and all member states,” said Altmaier, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency.
He said Europe’s goal was to find common ground with the future Biden administration and then reduce overall tariffs as much as possible.
Russian Soldier Kills 3 in Air Base Shooting Incident
A Russian conscript soldier killed three fellow servicemen on Monday at a military air base after attacking them with an axe and a gun, Russian news agencies reported.
The serviceman shot at officers who had come for a morning inspection at the base in the Voronezh region, around 500 km south of Moscow (310 miles), and then fled the scene, news agencies cited the defense ministry as saying.
There were contradictory reports of what happened next.
