It was two weeks ago when I received the diagnosis that so many Americans across our country and the world had already received—I tested positive for COVID-19.
To make matters worse, my husband, and our nation’s Commander-in-Chief, received the same news.
Naturally my mind went immediately to our son.
To our great relief he tested negative, but again, as so many parents have thought over the past several months, I couldn’t help but think “what about tomorrow or the next day?”.

Masvidal’s comments came during a stop on the “Fighters Against Socialism” bus tour, which Donald Trump Jr. launched with Masvidal and other Latinos.
Masvidal, whose father escaped communist Cuba, warned his fellow Latinos that Democrats are attempting to take advantage of them by merely assuming Latinos will vote for Democratic candidates.
“I’m gonna let you in on something,” Masvidal said. “The Democrats just think that they’re entitled to the Latino vote. They think that we just have to hand it over to them. That’s right. We sure as hell don’t.”
The crowd responded with boos.
Facebook reducing distribution of Hunter Biden story in New York Post
Facebook said it would rely on its fact-checking partners to determine the story’s legitimacy, but until then, it is taking steps to tamp down on its spread.
“While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners,” Facebook spokesperson Andy Stone tweeted Wednesday.
“In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform.”

It’s all about redistribution;
But to mitigate climate change effectively and fairly, the international community needs to broadly redistribute funds across states to respond to inequalities in resilience capacity and the unjust system underpinning them. As Mohammed Adow, the director of the Nairobi-based think tank Power Shift Africa, explains, the international community has already designed a mechanism that could perform this task: the Green Climate Fund (GCF), which is the largest international fund aimed at helping developing countries mitigate and adapt to climate impacts.

New Emails Show Joe Biden Totally Knew About Son Hunter’s Allegedly Corrupt Burisma Dealings
Remember when Joe Biden said he had no idea what his son was up to and that he trusted that nothing shady was going on because he trusted him? Yeah, that got blown up today.
The New York Post’s unearthed new emails that show that Joey Biden was all too aware of his son’s dealings (via NY Post):
Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.
Obama conference call leaked to Burisma: Biden emails
The Obama administration let a Democratic p.r. company that worked for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma take part in a conference call about an upcoming visit to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden, emails obtained by The Post show.
An associate at Blue Star Strategies then emailed a memo with minutes of the conference call hosted by the White House to a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, as well as to Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, both of whom sat on Burisma’s board.
The trip, in December 2015, turned out to be the one during which Biden later bragged about forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee.
Russia probe figure Bruce Ohr retired from DOJ as disciplinary review decision loomed, spokeswoman says
“Bruce Ohr retired from the Department of Justice on Sept. 30, 2020. As such, he is no longer an employee of the department,” Justice Department spokesperson Kerri Kupec said in a statement.
“Mr. Ohr retired after his counsel was informed that a final decision on a disciplinary review being conducted by department senior career officials was imminent.”
Ohr was a key contact inside the Justice Department for Steele, who authored an anti-Trump dossier for research firm Fusion GPS as opposition research for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.
Ohr’s wife, Nellie Ohr, worked for Fusion GPS at the time.
Google Researcher Warns Google May Be ‘Shifting Power’ to Flip Senate
Epstein theorized that Google had the power to “mobilize the base supporters of Democratic candidates to register to vote and then to vote; they can discourage some Republican voters from registering to vote or voting.” He wrote that the company had “at least 9 million undecided voters they can still play with.”
A Google search not affiliated with an account shows the search bar auto-completes certain terms with “senate.” When a user types in “flip the,” “senate” shows up three times.
Searches that involve the term “democrat” also auto-complete with “flip the senate.” In addition, when it comes to a search with the term “Mitch,” the first name of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Google auto-completes with “vote mitch mcconnell out.”

Biggest World War Two Bomb Found in Poland Explodes While Being Defused
More than 750 people had been evacuated from the area near the Piast Canal outside the town of Swinoujscie where the Tallboy bomb used by Britain’s Royal Air Force (RAF) was found.
It weighed nearly 5,400 kg, including 2,400 kg of explosive.
Swinoujscie contains a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal but a spokesman for the town’s mayor told PAP no one was injured and no infrastructure had been damaged.
The Piast Canal connects the Baltic Sea with the Oder River on Poland’s border with Germany. The bomb was dropped by the RAF in 1945 in an attack on the German cruiser Lutzow.
Israel-Lebanon first meeting on maritime dispute; Turkey scolds Sweden/EU – TV7 Israel News 14.10.20
1) Israeli and Lebanese delegations held their first meeting today, as part of negotiations, under U.S. mediation, for the purpose of resolving a bilateral maritime boundary dispute.
2) Greek Foreign Minister reiterated his country’s anger over Turkey’s decision to reengage in off-shore energy exploration – reiterating his depiction of Ankara as the “common denominator” to “every problem in the region.”
3) Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu lashed-out at his Swedish counterpart Ann Linde for “urging” his country to disengage from northern Syria.
Two American hostages of Iran-backed militants freed in trade: report
A Royal Oman Air Force plane carrying the two Americans and the remains of a third flew out of Yemen’s Houthi-controlled capital of Sana’a, hours after the jet and a companion flight brought hundreds of militants back to the country following years stuck in Oman.
The deal secured freedom for Sandra Loli, an American humanitarian worker who was held hostage by the Houthis for about three years, and Mikael Gidada, a U.S. businessman who was held for about a year, said Kash Patel, a deputy assistant to President Trump who worked on the deal.
The pact also included the return of the remains of Bilal Fateen, a third American who had been held by the Houthis.
U.S. officials provided only limited information on the three Americans but did say that they had been working urgently to secure the deal because Ms. Loli’s health was in decline.
The deal also included delivery of medical aid for Yemen.

Based on Lee Smith’s book of the same name, “The Plot Against The President” tells the incredible story of the Russian collusion hoax in documentary form.
It’s pro-Trump, but also a work of journalistic import given the critical contributions from witnesses and stakeholders who recall the investigation in detail.
What’s more, “The Plot Against The President” is stylish, making a compelling case with the benefit of Hollywood flair, rare for overtly conservative productions.
That’s easier to do when your director is a USC film school graduate and the daughter of Hollywood royalty.
