9/11 conspirator imprisoned in Colorado’s Supermax sues Trump and top US officials, alleging “cover up
A man who conspired with the 9/11 hijackers has filed lawsuits from his Colorado prison cell against President Donald Trump, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, U.S. Attorney General William Barr and more than a dozen other people in the last two months.
Zacarias Moussaoui, who is serving a life sentence at the federal Supermax prison in Florence, filed 20 handwritten, rambling petitions in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado between Aug. 21 and Sept. 8, accusing authorities of trying to silence him and cover up information about who he says is actually responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
19-year-old ex-boyfriend arrested in alleged murder of missing teen Madison Sparrow
According to the Philly Voice, Sparrow told family members prior to leaving the house that she was going for ice cream and to pick out a birthday present for her sister.
Police issued a Gold Alert for the missing teen on Saturday night.
Authorities arrested Sharp on Monday after he reportedly confessed to the killing and “directed detectives to a wooded area near Interstate 95 and Del. 896, where they found Sparrow’s body, according to court documents.”
According to WCAU-TV, investigators said that Sparrow died from blunt force trauma to her body and that Sharp had allegedly bludgeoned her to death with an aluminum baseball bat.
Thousands of New Jersey Voters Receive Wrong Mail-in Ballots
Nearly 25 percent of the ballots sent to Teaneck residents, 6,867 ballots of 28,151, listed the wrong congressional district.
However, County Clerk John Hogan has since assured that voters will receive the correct ballot soon.
According to the outlet, the Bergen County Board of Elections is aware of who received incorrect ballots, and those will be voided in the event of the voter sending in the correct ballot.
If they do not, the incorrect ballot will be counted, minus the incorrect congressional race, per the outlet.
CA Officials Topple Giant ‘TRUMP’ Sign Overlooking 405 Freeway, Citing ‘Life And Safety Hazard’
The sign, visible on the hills near the Sepulveda Pass as Los Angeles drivers began their Tuesday commute, was first reported just before 7 a.m. by a driver who “was apparently concerned it could spark a blaze” after the state’s history of “destructive brush fires in the past few years.”
As such, the CA Highway Patrol noted the sign as a “traffic hazard” as drivers began to decelerate to take photos of the sign.
By 9 a.m., the sign was taken down by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), which entered private property and “laid it down so it wasn’t a visual distraction.” (h/t The Federalist).
Gun Purchases Are Breaking All-Time Records This Year Due To Lockdowns, Rioting, And Confiscation Threats
As people become increasingly interested in buying and using firearms in the United States since COVID-19 lockdowns began in March and widespread rioting began in May, federal firearm background checks for 2020 reached 28.82 million this month, surpassing last year’s record of 28.36 million.
An updated report released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation shows that the National Instant Criminal Background Check System processed 2.89 million background checks in September 2020 alone.
The report also demonstrates that July produced the largest number of total background checks, 3.93 million, in the FBI’s NICS history.
ICE arrests 128 illegal immigrants in Calif.; 96 percent had criminal charges or convictions
Operation Rise, conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2 in the Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco areas, nabbed 128 illegal immigrants.
Officials said 96 percent of those arrested had convictions or pending charges for crimes including homicide, sexual assault, sexual offenses against children, weapons offenses and domestic violence.
The operations all targeted sanctuary cities, where local law enforcement are restricted in their ability to cooperate with federal law enforcement.
Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf gave the example of a 40-year-old man from El Salvador who was convicted of first-degree murder in 2009, sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
In August, ICE issued a detainer, but it was ignored by the Los Angeles County jail and the illegal immigrant was released into the community.
Postal Employee Arrested For Dumping Mail, Including Election Ballots In NJ
Nicholas Beauchene, 26, of Kearny, New Jersey, is charged by complaint with one count of delay, secretion, or detention of mail and one count of obstruction of mail.
He is scheduled to appear this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy L. Waldor in Newark federal court.
Approximately 1,875 pieces of mail – including 627 pieces of first class, 873 pieces of standard class, two pieces of certified mail, 99 general election ballots destined for residents in West Orange, and 276 campaign flyers from local candidates for West Orange Town Council and Board of Education – were recovered from dumpsters in North Arlington and West Orange on Oct. 2, 2020, and Oct. 5, 2020.
Luis Martinez-Romero Charged In Kidnapping Of 9-Year-Old Girl In Providence
Police released surveillance video of the abduction on Tuesday. It showed an SUV pulling in front of the girl just after she left the bus.
The driver got out, picked the girl up and put her in the back seat of the SUV before driving away.
Martinez-Romero was arrested late Tuesday. He’s charged with kidnapping of a minor and second degree sexual assault.
Police said Martinez-Romero did not know the girl.
Justice Department asks Supreme Court to hear Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s case
In a petition, Justice Department lawyers called Tsarnaev’s case “one of the most important terrorism prosecutions in our nation’s history” and said the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals was wrong when it ruled Tsarnaev deserves a new trial to decide whether he should be executed.
“Given the profound stakes…the First Circuit should not have the last word,” Acting Solicitor General Jeffrey Wall and other lawyers told the U.S. Supreme Court.
The high court should “put this landmark case back on track toward its just conclusion,” they wrote.
If the justices refuse to hear the case, prosecutors could go forward with another trial or drop their pursuit for capital punishment and agree to life in prison.

Cuomo Uses 14-Year-Old Photo to Accuse Orthodox Jews of Violating Coronavirus Restrictions
The photo, which was taken at a funeral in 2006, was included in a slide show at a press conference on Monday, during which Cuomo announced new restrictions on schools, businesses, and religious gatherings.
He wrongly said the photo was taken in the “past couple of weeks” and said it was “emblematic” of religious groups refusing to abide by mask and social distancing rules.
Cuomo and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio (D.) have repeatedly sparred with the Jewish community over coronavirus regulations since the pandemic began this spring.
De Blasio threatened to crack down on Jews specifically in a tweet in April, in which he said the NYPD had authority to arrest those participating in large gatherings—though the mayor himself participated in a large gathering in July.

Texas Supreme Court Rules Houston Can’t Send Out Mail-In Ballots To Voters That Didn’t Request Them
“We hold that the Election Code does not authorize an early-voting clerk to send an application to vote by mail to a voter who has not requested one and that a clerk’s doing so results in irreparable injury to the State,” the decision read.
“Because no other election official in Texas is doing or has ever done what the Clerk proposes, his plan threatens to undermine the statutorily required uniform operation of election laws across the state.
The State contends that such a mass mailing is not authorized by the Election Code. The Code contains no express authority.”

“I think the timing of the affair is more damaging to Cunningham than the physicality of it,” Andy Jackson of the Civitas Institute told Fox News.

“Assimilation” China Style
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Chairman Xi Jinping doubled down on his professed policy of ethnic assimilation on September 26 at a two-day party conference on Xinjiang.
In reality, the CCP policy in Xinjiang of “assimilation” resembles more the forced unity of cultural genocide.
There is ample evidence that these same repressive policies are being applied in several other Chinese territories where ethnic minorities are prominent.
Similar “assimilation” programs presently are being implemented in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Tibet Autonomous Region, and the Korean Autonomous Prefecture in China’s northeastern province of Jilin.

Surprising science – There’s no such thing as clean energy
The researchers discovered that renewable energy sources sometimes contribute to problems they were designed to solve.
For example, a series of international studies have found that both wind and solar farms are themselves causing local climate change.
Wind farms increase the temperature of the soil beneath them, and this warming causes soil microbes to release more carbon dioxide.
So, ironically, while wind energy might be partially reducing human “carbon emissions”, it is also increasing the “carbon emissions” from natural sources.
Green energy technologies require a 10-fold increase in mineral extraction compared to fossil fuel electricity.
Solar and wind farms also need 100 times the land area of fossil fuel-generated electricity, and these resulting changes in land use can have a devastating effect on biodiversity.
Poorest areas of England four times as likely to face lockdown as richest
Andy Burnham, the mayor of Greater Manchester, said areas hardest hit by the virus needed urgent financial support and were in “an extremely serious situation” with winter approaching and the furlough scheme drawing to a close this month.
“If we don’t get that support then we’re looking at a winter of dangerous discontent in the north of England where we will be levelled down to a really worrying degree and our economy will take much longer to recover as a result,” he said on Wednesday.
In the six weeks to the end of September Covid-19 cases have consistently been more prevalent and rates of infection have been higher in the poorest parts of the country, according to a Guardian analysis of data from Public Health England.

Yet, if you listen to the rhetoric of today and the presentation of the liberal leftists you would assume that our Founding fathers originated the practice of slavery.
The Founding Fathers were born into a world where slavery existed, they did not create it.
They were born into a world where large agricultural estates included slaves as property.
We know from their writings that Washington, Jefferson, and Madison all detested slavery as an institution.
