Armed civilian roadblocks in Oregon town fuel fears over vigilantism
Vigilante groups had sprung up on Friday afternoon, after the detonation of a firecracker led to a brushfire on private property that was quickly extinguished.
Civilian residents, some heavily armed, set up at least two roadblocks with cars and household chairs, according to residents and recordings obtained by the Guardian.
Drivers who were stopped said they were asked to identify themselves and their connection to the town and claimed that on at least two occasions, police were on the scene and did not intervene in the illegal traffic stops.
Iranian nationals indicted in hacking of U.S. networks
Two Iranian nationals have been indicted on charges of hacking into American computer networks, stealing data for both personal financial gain and at the behest of the Iranian government, federal prosecutors announced on Wednesday.
Federal prosecutors accused Hooman Heidarian and Mehdi Farhadi, both of Hamedan, Iran, of selling the stolen data on the black market, including to the Iranian government.
Kayleigh McEnany Lays Out Attacks on Police in Past 24 Hours
Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany held a press conference Wednesday where she laid out all the attacks on law enforcement officers in just the past 24 hours.
“These acts are despicable, rhetoric such as ‘defund the police’ is likely to have negative consequences for law enforcement across the country, threatening the safety of our communities,” said McEnany.

They reportedly attempted to block the highway and tried to stop a police vehicle moving in the same direction.
Nonetheless, another video shows protesters weaving through traffic in the city, which remained at a standstill. Some climbed on top of a bus stop as the crowd chanted, “This is what democracy looks like”:

Chinese virologist Dr Li-Meng Yan has alleged that Covid-19 was a human-made virus in a lab in China.
As per New York Post, she released a report on September 14 that she says backs up her explosive claim.
The former researcher at the Hong Kong School of Public Health posted a paper on the open-access repository website Zenote.
The paper states her claims on how SARS-CoV-2 could be “conveniently created” in a laboratory setting in six months.
Twitter Suspends Account Of Chinese Scientist Who Published Paper Alleging Covid Was Created In Wuhan Lab
On Sunday afternoon we asked how long before the twitter account of the “rogue” Chinese virologist, Dr. Li-Meng Yan, who yesterday “shocked” the world of establishment scientists and other China sycophants, by publishing a “smoking gun” scientific paper demonstrating that the Covid-19 virus was manmade, is “silenced.”
We now have the answer: less than two days. A cursory check of Dr. Yan’s Twitter page reveals that the account has been suspended as of this moment.

Mark Meadows says Trump health care plan ‘ready’: ‘executive action with a legislative component’
“It’s ready, we’ve been making a number of tweaks and modifications,” Meadows told reporters Tuesday at the White House.
“I think if we look at legislation, nothing gets done in Congress. They can’t even agree on the corona issue,” Meadows said of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Part of the delay is we had to look at legislative parts, and we had to put it in this box, then we had to figure out what to do administratively. We had to get creative with executive powers.”
“What we can do is bring health care costs down through executive action, and with a legislative component,” Meadows said. He added that he is “not optimistic” that Congress will “come together” on a health care agreement.

Barr was in Chicago for Operation LeGend, the federal effort to shore up local law enforcement in several cities that have crime waves in the wake of Black Lives Matter protests and riots.

The effect on inner city communities had been “devastating,” Barr said, because unlike “wealthier liberals,” they could not “buy their way out of it” and move to “gated communities.”
Trump campaign asks Twitter to mark Biden coronavirus ad as manipulated media, but company refuses
The Trump campaign on Tuesday asked Twitter to label a video posted by Joe Biden’s campaign as manipulated media over a clip that they say takes President Trump’s words out of context and has been repeatedly fact-checked as incorrect manipulation, but the company declined to do so, according to emails obtained by Fox News.
The splicing is identical to how the Biden campaign cut a video of the Feb. 28 address in a March video that got four Pinnochios from the Washington Post, and was panned by several other fact-checkers.
The president did not say “this is their new hoax” immediately after he said “coronavirus” in his original comments, as the ad makes it appear.

Young conservatives who post pro-Trump messages on social media were compared to “trolls” by The Washington Post on Tuesday in an investigation by the paper revealing a coordinated effort that violates Twitter’s policies — but the group said it considers their online behavior “sincere political activism.”
Twitter suspended 20 accounts for or “platform manipulation and spam” after the Post asked the social media giant about them, according to Stanley-Becker.
Senate Homeland Security Committee authorizes subpoenas for testimony from Obama officials as part of Russia probe
The committee on Wednesday held a business meeting to authorize committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., to issue notices for taking depositions, subpoenas, for records, and subpoenas for testimony to individuals relating to the panel’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation, the Justice Department inspector general’s review of that investigation, and the “unmasking” of U.S. persons affiliated with the 2016 Trump campaign, transition team and the Trump administration.

World News:
Uganda jail break: More than 200 prisoners escape Moroto facility
The inmates reportedly killed a soldier after they broke out of the facility in Moroto before heading for the hills.
The army and prison officials are pursuing the escapees, who reportedly made off with 15 guns and ammunition.
An army spokesperson said two inmates had been captured and two killed.
The prison facility is built on the foothills of Mount Moroto, on the edge of the town. Local reports say the shoot-out has brought business in Moroto to a standstill.

A whistleblower claims Facebook ignored evidence that fake accounts were used to undermine elections and political affairs around the globe, with overwhelmed junior-level employees left to arbitrarily police malevolent activity,
