Murder Charges Filed Against Suspect in Fatal CHOP Zone Shooting
“The suspect, Marcel Levon Long, is still at-large. A warrant for his arrest has been issued. On June 20, shots rang out inside CHOP, killing 19-year-old Horace Lorenzo Anderson,” KING 5 reported.
Seattle police officers arrested at least 23 people after Mayor Jenny Durkan (D) ordered the zone cleared out on July 1, Breitbart News reported.
The KING 5 report said Wednesday that when Long is found and taken into custody, his bail will be set at $2 million.
NAACP Stands by Chapter President Who Shared Anti-Semitic Image
In a statement to the Philadelphia Tribune, NAACP spokeswoman Austyn Ross said the organization is “saddened and deeply disappointed by the harm caused by Mr. Muhammad’s actions” but did not call for Muhammad’s resignation.
The picture depicted a caricature of a Jewish man and included the phrase, “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize”—a quote attributed to neo-Nazi Kevin Alfred Strom.
Muhammad has quoted or otherwise promoted Farrakhan in multiple Facebook posts.
Appeals court trashes Obama administration prosecution of Bundys
The appeals court found “flagrant misconduct” by the prosecution.
Lawyer Larry Klayman, who also runs Freedom Watch, said, “My client Cliven Bundy, having been forced to endure the emotional distress and physical harm of being arrested and denied bail, being thrown in solitary confinement for no valid reason, denied right of counsel and a speedy trial and then, after about two years of illegal incarceration, had to endure a sham and fraudulent trial, where exculpatory evidence was hidden, prosecutors lied to the presiding judge, and where a whistleblower came forward to disclose that there had been a ‘kill list’ by some agents of the Bureau of Land Management on the heads of the Bundys, is now relieved that this nightmare is over.”
He said the prosecutors “were previously caught lying to the court, suborning perjury, threatening whistleblower Larry Wooten and, put simply, committing crimes.”

O’Keefe vs FBI: Project Veritas Founder James O’Keefe DENIED Constitutional Right to Bear Arms
New York, NY – August 6, 2020] Project Veritas Action and Project Veritas today released a video of James O’Keefe III, who has never been convicted of a felony, being denied the right to keep and bear arms.
The rejection has led O’Keefe to file a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
When asked why the FBI has denied his ability to purchase a firearm, the FBI disclosed O’Keefe is falsely identified as a convicted felon on the NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check) list.
He has never been convicted of a felony.
11 alleged MS-13 members arrested for sex trafficking 13-year-old girl
A 48-page FBI affidavit claims the girl ran away from a group home in Fairfax in August 2018 with a 16-year-old friend who was connected to MS-13.
A child trafficking task force found the girl nearly two months later at an apartment in Mount Rainier, Maryland.
The girl told authorities that she was twice beaten on her backside and legs 26 times with a baseball bat — once as an initiation to the gang, and once as a punishment for talking to rival gang members and allegedly stealing from fellow gang members.
The affidavit states that multiple gang members sexually assaulted her, and that the gang prostituted her on multiple occasions in northern Virginia and Maryland.
Florida woman arrested in fatal shooting of Burger King employee over drive-thru delay
A Florida woman was arrested in connection with the death of a young Burger King employee, days after her husband was also nabbed for shooting the worker in the restaurant parking lot following a fight over the drive-through delay, police said.
The Aug. 1 shooting followed an argument involving the Burger King’s manager, Joshua and a woman, whom police officials later identified as Mason.
Police said Mason had allegedly grown irate over the long wait time at the fast-food restaurant’s drive-thru, where she ordered $33.11 worth of food.
3 Massachusetts police officers stabbed or slashed; suspect in custody
The agency said Saugus police had confirmed three officers were stabbed or slashed. It said all three were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and are expected to survive.
A fourth officer was also hospitalized for precautionary reasons.
A large presence of police and emergency responders was seen early Thursday in Saugus, tweeted WCVB-TV reporter Matt Reed. He reported that a neighbor said he saw three police officers being taken away in an ambulance.
Network evening newscasts skip Sally Yates admitting James Comey went ‘rogue’ with Flynn interview
MRC news analyst Nicholas Fondacaro, who monitors broadcast news coverage, called it “another example of the broadcast networks covering up the degree of corruption in the Russia investigation,” as Yates told the committee she was upset upon learning Comey interviewed Flynn without her authorization.
“Instead of reporting on Yates’s shocking testimony, all three networks boasted how former Vice President Joe Biden decided to give his convention speech from the safety of his basement in Delaware,” Fondacaro wrote.
Viewers missed an interesting exchange when committee chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., asked Yates about the circumstances surrounding the interview, particularly the actions of Comey.

America’s police are pushing back.
Under assault by the liberal “defund movement” pushed by Black Lives Matter, police associations from several cities have formed a federal super PAC to tackle politicians that support efforts to cut policing and police funds.
The Protect and Serve PAC will jump into races “where there is a clear distinction between candidates who embrace the disastrous policy of ‘defunding the police’ and those who recognize the central role law enforcement plays in keeping our cities and neighborhoods safe,” according to a statement.
Israel Boycott Supporter Wins Missouri Democratic Primary
Bush defeated Lacy Clay, a 20-year incumbent who supported Israel in a district with a significant Jewish population.
Moreover, it was Clay who in the final days of the campaign, disseminated a booklet exposing Bush’s ties to Palestinian Activist Linda Sarsour and her support for BDS, Jewish Insider first reported.
The mailer featured a number of charges against the progressive candidate including her support for an end to military aid to Israel, according to the report.

White House adviser: Fighting human trafficking, modern-day slavery means protecting U.S. border
A senior White House adviser argued in a video interview with Just the News that in their criticism of President Trump’s strong border control policies, the political left ignores that fighting modern-day slavery and human trafficking means successfully protecting U.S. borders.
“The president gets a lot of pushback on his immigration stance,” said Brooke Rollins, Acting Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council.
“But at the end of the day, when you talk about safe and secure borders, really the people you’re trying to protect are those women and their children who were crossing, who are trying to get to America, who immediately get put into a trafficking lane and are never able to escape.”
Her comments come as she joined Attorney General Robert Barr and White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump on Tuesday at the White House to announce $35 million in housing assistance grants from the Department of Justice for victims of human trafficking.

Minneapolis Charter Commission blocks controversial policing proposal from November ballot
In a 10-5 vote, the Minneapolis Charter Commission decided Wednesday to block a controversial policing proposal from the November ballot by invoking its right to take more time to review it.
“We have an obligation to make sure that what is going on the ballot gives the voters an informed choice, that they can make a decision in a thoughtful way,” said Charter Commissioner Andrew Kozak, adding that he didn’t think the proposal accomplished that.
It could still come before voters next year. But the commission’s action to keep it off this year’s ballot dealt a major setback to activists and City Council members who have worked to transform Minneapolis’ public safety system following the police killing of George Floyd.

During an interview that aired at the convention of the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists, NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro pressed the presumptive Democratic nominee if he would “re-engage” with Cuba as president, something she suggested would have an impact on Cuban-American voters in Florida.
“Yes, yes,” Biden responded.
“And by the way, what you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”

Las Vegas: Over 223K Mail-In Ballots Bounced as ‘Undeliverable’ in Recent Primary Election
According to data collected by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) from the Clark County Election Department, a total of 223,469 mail-in ballots sent to registered voters for the June 9 primary election ended up bouncing as “undeliverable” — 17 percent of the total 1,325,934 mail-in ballots that were sent out in the county.
For comparison, in the 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018 general elections, the entire state of Nevada recorded just 5,863 mail-in ballots as “undeliverable.” That data comes from U.S. Election Assistance Commission surveys.

China sentences Canadian to death on drugs charge
His alleged accomplice, Wen Guanxiong, was given a life sentence.
No details of the case were disclosed. He is the third Canadian to be sentenced to death in China recently.
Relations between the countries have been tense since the arrest of a Huawei executive in Vancouver in late 2018.
China’s foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said there was no connection between the case and the current state of China-Canada relations.

Teachers unions are now trying to blackmail the entire country into meeting a set of leftist political demands for reopening the schools this fall, using COVID-19 as their excuse.
Of course, the pandemic certainly presents challenges for re-opening schools, but other sectors of society have managed to rise to the occasion over the past several months to keep the country running.
Grocery stores clerks, truck drivers, warehouse workers, and of course police, firefighters, doctors, and nurses—all have kept working, sometimes under tough conditions and sometimes at great personal risk.
Then there are teachers unions.

Two days later, when more than 11,000 controllers refused to come back, Reagan fired them all.
It was a powerful move, and demonstrated to the entire country that essential public employees serve the public, not union bosses.
