Police: 150 Bullets Hit Eight Apartments, Seven Cars, and One Woman in Portland
Data from the bureau reportedly showed the number of shootings in Portland more than doubled in June and July compared to last year, according to Fox 12.
The outlet spoke to a woman recently who said someone shot five times through her bedroom while her two young grandchildren were inside.
“I felt something go past my head,” Jaime McKay told the outlet.
“This is just one of the many shootings that’s happened in Portland since the PPB’s Gun Violence Reduction Team disbanded July 1,” Fox 12 noted.
Chicago homicides and shootings rise sharply in 2020
There were 290 homicides and 1,480 shootings, including people who were killed, in the first seven months of last year.
July was especially violent, as the city recorded 105 homicides and 584 shootings.
Among them was a 9-year-old boy who was killed Friday when someone opened fire in the direction of a number of people, including him and his friends, according to police.
There were 308 shootings and 44 homicides in July 2019.
Google accused of racism for rolling out labels for “black-owned” businesses
Google has introduced the feature for Google Maps.
In the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, tech giants and corporations have scrambled to do what they can to show their support for the movement and, in some cases, their attempts have been met with pushback for falling into the horseshoe theory trap.
Their attempts to gratify calls for action have meant they themselves have been accused of being racist or of trying to capitalize on the movement.
Users of Google Maps in the United States will start to see a new label when looking for businesses: the black-owned attribute. At the moment, Google has not specified whether the label will reach other parts of the world.
‘I Can’t Breath’: Police Officers Won’t Face Charges After Man Resisting Arrest Dies In Custody
Lionel Morris, 39, ran from officers after they received a report that he was shoplifting in Conway, Arkansas, on Feb. 4, CBS affiliate KTHV reported.
Morris placed one officer in a chokehold and threatened them with a knife before he resisted arrest and was tased by at least three different officers, according to the report.
Tapley said a toxicology report found methamphetamine, morphine, amphetamine, opiates and cannabinoids in Moris’s system at the time of the incident.
“The level of drugs Mr. Morris had in his system and the strain he exerted while struggling with police ultimately contributed to his death,” Tapley said.
DC Police Reveal Why They Arrested Teens Writing Pro-Life Messages In Chalk
MPD spokeswoman Alaina Gertz told the DCNF that the students were arrested for “the defacing of private/public property.”
She said the students were “both citation released” and referred the DCNF to a description of what “Defacing public or private property” means.
Both advocacy groups had sent a July 20 letter to Mayor Muriel Bowser requesting permission to paint the words “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” in order to “to celebrate the beautiful children with endless potential who are the future of their community and deserve the opportunity to make their mark in the world.”
Neither Bowser nor MPD immediately responded to requests for comment regarding the permit.
The DCNF asked MPD whether graffiti on the streets of D.C. done in the name of George Floyd or Black Lives Matter also counted as defacing of private/public property. MPD did not immediately respond to this question.

Pro-life students were arrested for writing “Black Pre-born Lives Matter” outside a Planned Parenthood with chalk.
New Jersey gym owners squaring off with Gov Murphy kick down the barricades at entrance
Co-owner Ian Smith posted a video of himself and his business partner, Frank Trumbetti, kicking the barriers and entering as a crowd cheers their decision.
The dramatic display indicated that the months-long standoff between Gov. Phil Murphy and the gym owners wasn’t finished.
Smith’s caption contained a defiant message for New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy: “You will not trample one [sic] our rights and you will not destroy our lives. We will not back down. Ever.”
Smith added: “Please share this to show what lengths we have to go to just to make a living for our families.”

Breitbart remains locked out of Twitter days after covering Frontline Doctors press conference
The Twitter account for Breitbart News is still locked and the organization is suspended from posting after it live streamed a press conference with doctors who say treating COVID-19 with hydroxychloroquine is working well for them.
During this declared pandemic Twitter and other social media networks have taken down or limited the visibility of content provided by scientists and medical professionals that fail to strictly toe the official line set by the World Health Organization or the CDC – and even for asking questions and showing skepticism.
But Twitter’s action against Breitbart, a news organization, is more surprising as it means that journalists are now being punished for reporting on the word of medical professionals.
Portland Protesters Burn Bibles, American Flags in the Streets
According to the Portland Police, which did not engage with demonstrators, the crowd lit several fires, including a large bonfire in the middle of the street in front of the federal courthouse.

Portland Police did not engage with the demonstrators but did respond to a nearby shooting, where over 150 rounds were shot. One round struck a woman, per the Portland Police Bureau:

The Cleveland Clinic, where Culp underwent the historic procedure in 2008, confirmed her death in a statement Friday.

On Thursday night Dr. Gold told Tucker Carlson that she was fired from her position after 20 years as an emergency room physician because she appeared at the White Coat Summit this week.
Dr. Simone Gold also told Tucker Carlson she has hired respected Attorney Lin Wood to represent her.
Detroit police chief ‘excited’ for continuing relationship with federal law enforcement under Operation Legend
Detroit is just one of many cities across the country which will see an increased presence of federal officers, though The Detroit Free Press says some agents are already working gun investigations in the Motor City.
The team will reportedly focus on five areas of crime including arresting fugitives, gun violence, gang violence, illegal gun use and unlawful possession of guns, and violent drug trafficking.”
The federal agents will not police demonstrations and officials have stressed that there are no plans to confront or spirit away protesters.
In addition, the Department of Justice has pledged $1 million specifically to help Detroit police with gun and gang violence prevention. A $100,000 grant was also awarded to the city for acoustic gunshot detection technology and new equipment.

“The bill was a direct challenge to the Whitmer administration’s current handling of nursing homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has focused on caring for those with the virus in isolated spaces of existing homes,” The Detroit News reported.
“About 33% of the state’s deaths linked to the virus have been nursing home residents or employees, according to state data.”
Sen. Peter Lucido (R-Shelby Township) blasted Whitmer’s decision to not take more action to protect vulnerable seniors in nursing homes, which “account for more than 41 percent of the country’s pandemic fatalities,” according to The New York Times.

Steve Scalise forces Fauci to admit Trump saved lives with his COVID response
During questioning by House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, a Louisiana Republican, Fauci praised the administration’s moves to largely ban travel from China and Europe — both of which were widely questioned by both Democrats and the media at the time.
And, as it turns out, he was involved in the decision-making behind both travel bans.
“Do you think that decision saved lives, Dr. Fauci?” Scalise asked about the China travel ban. “Yes, I do,” Fauci responded.
Again, this wasn’t bound to make any headlines.
Vaccine news is more important.
For diversions, we had the contentious lines of questioning from both Democrats and Republicans to keep us occupied — this being a House hearing and all, where donor clips and storylines are more important than actual news.
However, let’s not forget that the Trump administration’s reaction to the coronavirus saved lives.

Trump administration to increase immigration fees, impose fee for asylum claims
The rule, first proposed last year and published in the federal register Friday, increases the application for citizenship fee by 81 percent to $1,160 among a number of fee increases for immigration applications.
Immigrants will be charged a $50 fee to claim asylum — although that applies to claims that are made from within the U.S., and therefore would not apply to people arriving across the U.S.-Mexico border or other ports of entry.
Citizenship and Immigration Services has said that it pays $366 in adjudication costs to process each affirmative asylum application, bringing the total to almost $1,800 once overheads are included.
The agency, in announcing the change Friday, noted that that it is almost entirely funded by fees rather than taxpayer money and that a recent review found that current fees would leave the agency underfunded by approximately $1 billion a year.

The court ruled the law does not violate the 14th or 15th Amendments or the Voting Rights Act and that the anti-voter ID plaintiffs failed to demonstrate the Alabama law causes the denial or abridgment of the right to vote on account of race.
The burden of providing a photo ID…in order to vote is a minimal burden on Alabama’s voters—especially when Alabama accepts so many different forms of photo ID and makes acquiring one simple and free for voters who lack a valid ID but wish to obtain one.
“As we argued to the court, voter ID is good policy and protects the votes of all voters,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
“The Left is dishonestly playing the race card to try to stop common sense voter ID measures in Alabama and elsewhere.
We’re pleased that we were able to help the Court see through the canard that voter ID requirements harm any American voters.”

UN Officials Cite Study That Finds Lockdowns, School Closures KILLING More Children Than COVID
UNICEF nutrition program chief Victor Aguayo noted that the most harm is being done “by having schools closed, by having primary health care services disrupted, by having nutritional programs dysfunctional.”
The officials pointed to a study published in The Lancet that notes “physical distancing, school closures, trade restrictions, and country lockdowns” are worsening global child malnutrition.
The study estimates that an extra 6.7 million children will be at risk, and that lockdowns and other coronavirus responses could lead to more than 10,000 additional child deaths every month.
The UNICEF officials noted that would mean 128,000 more deaths among children within the next year.

The TikTok app has been downloaded over 2 billion times on the App Store and Google Play.
TikTok’s user privacy policy clearly states that it can record what websites the user usually browses, the user’s typing habits, and can obtain photos, videos, and address books stored on electronic devices.
It also tracks the user’s IP address and GPS location, etc.

America Is Led By Mass Murderers – What Can Citizens Do?
What Dr. Fauci and others like him who are complicit in mass murder has is unlimited financial resources, as he is part of the Wall Street Central Bankers who pretty much control the affairs of the world through International organizations such as the World Health Organization, the World Economic Forum, the Council on Foreign Relations, and many other organizations that are linked to Central Bankers.
An uprising among the “common folk” is what they fear most, because the “common folk” outnumber them significantly, and it would not even take a majority of the “common folk” to overthrow their power.
They use subtle mind-control techniques to control narratives, and they also use the media, and especially today in the 21st Century, they use Big Tech to squelch freedom of thought and expression.
Here are a couple of suggestions I have today, here in July of 2020, of how citizens could potentially take back the country away from the powerful bankers and Wall Street.
