If the park ordinance is repealed, women and transgender people will not be prohibited from exposing their breasts in Minneapolis parks and parkways, according to KARE 11.

The park is still covered by Minneapolis and Minnesota statutes that prohibit indecent genital exposure and lewdness, according to a Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board repeal resolution.

The rule’s “discriminatory language” prohibiting women from exposing their breasts in city parks should be erased, Park Board Commissioner Chris Meyer said on Twitter Sunday.

U.S. industrial production in June posted the largest monthly gain since 1959, indicating manufacturing is stirring to life after coronavirus-related shutdowns.

Total output at factories, mines and utilities increased 5.4% from the prior month after climbing 1.4% in May, Federal Reserve data showed Wednesday.

The median projection in a Bloomberg survey of economists called for a 4.3% advance. Factory output jumped 7.2%, the biggest gain since 1946.

BANKS STAND TO MAKE $18 BILLION IN PPP PROCESSING FEES FROM CARES ACT

The fees compensate the banks for some of the costs that come with processing loans — call center time to handle business owners’ questions, employee hours spent on processing paperwork for both loan and forgiveness applications — and some of the risk they shoulder if any of the loans they extend end up being fraudulent.

But there is no credit risk; if business owners who qualified for PPP loans later default, the Small Business Association takes the hit, not the banks.

“Basically it’s free money,” Fischer said.

For some banks, this money represents a hefty windfall. New Jersey-based Cross River Bank’s estimated $163 million haul would be more than double its net revenue last year. JPMorgan Chase could make $864 million.

Coin Shortage Strikes Walmart, Customers Required To Pay With Card At Self-Checkout

Cash-paying customers are still welcomed at all stores, though self-checkout registers will only allow customers to pay with a card.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell recently said virus-related lockdowns raised concerns about coin circulation. He told AP that the “flow of funds through the economy stopped” due to closures in the economy.

We’ve noted a handful of retailers so far that have banned cash/coins, including Kroger, Meijer, Dollar Tree, and Wawa.

Twitter users seem to think the pandemic was a cover by elites to push a “cashless society:”

Data from government transparency sites, usually maintained by state treasurers or comptrollers, show that over the course of the last four fiscal years states have paid out more than $300 million to Planned Parenthood affiliates.

Now, some of the biggest contributors are asking for federal money to cover their nonpandemic-related budget shortfalls.

Govs. Larry Hogan of Maryland and Andrew Cuomo of New York, who head the National Governors Association, asked Congress in April for $500 billion to bail out states.

Their states’ records do not inspire confidence in their ability to use potential federal funds wisely, as it appears they have contributed to their current budget shortfalls by making large payments to abortion providers.

Ilhan Omar’s payments to husband’s firm hit $1 million in 2020 cycle

Omar, a freshmen congresswoman, has faced scrutiny over numerous financial and personal issues since she was elected in 2018.

She has drawn criticism for a lack of transparency about her previous marriages, over campaign finance violations, and for a potential violation of House ethics rules pertaining to the advance she received on a recently published memoir.

Pressed for answers, she has routinely dismissed the inquiries as “smears” and “conspiracy theories.”

Mynett’s firm is the top vendor for Omar’s campaign, which doled out $521,000 between April 1 and June 30 with Mynett’s share accounting for 44 percent of that total.

Alvarez, the president of Sunshine Gasoline, was at a roundtable when he spoke for nearly 10 uninterrupted minutes about his childhood in Cuba and how he ended up living in the U.S. in 1961, when he was 13 years old and on his way to Spain.

He said almost 60 years later, he’s “sitting next to the president of the United States talking about the American Dream.

He said that his family fled Cuba because they did not want their children to be brainwashed by Castro and the totalitarian regime.

He said they do not educate children in Havana, they indoctrinate them and offer false promises.

Lindsey Graham seeks declassification of FBI memo that casts ‘grave doubt’ on Steele dossier

“It was the Russians, in my view, who provided all of the garbage for the Christopher Steele dossier.

The Russian subsource — he wasn’t a subsource. He was an employee of Christopher Steele,” Graham said, adding, “And here’s the key question:

On Jan. 21 through the 24, [2017], the Russian subsource, the guy who provided all the material for the dossier, is interviewed by the FBI for three days. He’s interviewed again in March.

There’s a memo about that interview. Horowitz found it.

It was 40 pages. My staff has finally gotten to look at it. It’s classified. I’m going to try to get it unclassified.”

FBI Opens China-Related Investigation Every 10 Hours | CCP | Epoch News

FBI director Christopher Wray called out the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for using different tactics in stealing U.S. technology and trade secrets during his speech at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C.

He warned that the United States will hold China accountable for its malign activities.

The Thousand Talents recruitment plan, which aims to attract top experts around the world to work on projects in China, has drawn scrutiny from U.S. officials, who say it facilitates the transfer of sensitive American technology and know-how to China.

Wray warned that the United States will no longer tolerate the CCP’s repeated attempts in stealing intellectual property.

Toppled UK statue of slave trader quietly replaced with sculpture of Black Lives Matter protester

The life-size resin and steel likeness of Jen Reid, who was photographed on June 7 standing on the empty base after demonstrators pulled down the Colston statue and dumped it in Bristol’s harbor, went up before dawn Wednesday without approval from city officials.

“I think it’s amazing,” Reid said. “It looks like it belongs there. It looks like it’s been there forever.”

“The sculpture that has been installed today was the work and decision of a London based artist,” Rees said. “It was not requested and permission was not given for it to be installed.”

After the Colston statue was thrown in the harbor, city officials fished it out and said it would be placed in a museum, along with placards from the Black Lives Matter demonstration.

Seven senators submitted a draft bill late Tuesday to amend Russia’s Family Code and legally ban gay marriage and adoptions, including, according to its authors, by transgender people.

The move comes two weeks after voters overwhelmingly approved a set of constitutional amendments that include a provision defining marriage as a “union between a man and a woman,” reported The Moscow Times.

“The bill ends the practice of marriage between persons of the same sex, including those who changed genders,” its co-author, senator Yelena Mizulina, told Interfax.

What Did She Not Reveal? Part 1 – China Angle

Commentary/Opinion:
Today we will focus our investigation on Dr. Yan Li-meng, a new whistleblower from Hong Kong who was interviewed by Fox News about the CCP’s coverup of the pandemic.

In the interview, Dr. Yan said she had uncovered evidence that the Chinese authorities were aware of human-to-human transmission of the outbreak in late December.

Most of that information had already been made public, so why would Fox News spend the 13 minutes of their broadcast focused on that information despite having 4 hours of interview material with Dr. Yan?

What did they leave out? How early did the Chinese government know this could become a pandemic?

Did the CCP simply want to cover up the source of the pandemic? Or did they have more sinister motives in mind, like an intentional spreading of the virus to the rest of the world?

In this episode of the China Angle, we delve into these questions.

Facebook Fact Checkers Fail on Shellenberger Apology: 2x Standards on Climate and Freedom of Speech

Facebook has relied upon Climate Feedback and Science Feedback to assess news posts and decide whether they are ‘false news’ or not.

In the case of Michael Shellenberger’s recent apology, as an environmentalist who spent years pushing and apocalyptic narrative on climate, the Climate/Science Feedback experts have passed judgement on his personal story and 1600 word summary of a 432-page book “Apocalypse Never”.

This video reveals that Facebook has double standards on climate and freedom of speech, and that the so-called ‘independent third party’ fact checkers have posted conflicting statements about Shellenberger’s book and the facts, and that some are not independent or non-partisan at all.
