National Parents’ Coalition ‘Thrilled’ Trump Exposed ‘Indoctrination’ in Government Schools
In comments sent to Breitbart News following Trump’s address at the Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration on the evening of July 3, United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) agreed with the president that America’s children have been indoctrinated “through fake history and the outright hatred they have learned in government classrooms.”
The parents’ coalition observed that, through the use of the federally-incentivized Common Core Standards, even young children have been taught “how to create arguments, write persuasive opinions using emotional words, and take action in their communities and country based on their opinions alone.”
“We continue to encourage President Trump to create and implement policies that will eradicate this shameful wrongdoing to our children,” USPIE said.
Nearly 19,000 bottles of hand sanitizer recalled over methanol concerns
ITECH 361’s one-liter bottles of All Clean Hand Sanitizer, Moisturizer and Disinfectant may contain methanol, which can be poisonous if absorbed through the skin or ingested, according to an announcement posted by the Food and Drug Administration on Monday.
The recalled product is used as a hand sanitizer and moisturizer and is packaged in plastic bottles with the UPC Code 628055370130, the FDA said.
Substantial exposure to the toxic chemical can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death, the FDA’s warning reads.

While more than 800 signed the petition to get him fired, days later Hsu had compiled over 2,000 signatures in a support petition.
“Over just a few days, 1700+ individuals from around the world signed the support petition… Among the signatories are hundreds of professors from MSU and around the world, and an even larger number of PhD degree holders,” Hsu
said.
On June 19, Hsu was asked to resign from his position.
U.S. Government Awards $1.6B Contract To Novavax To Help Develop Coronavirus Vaccine
The contract was announced Tuesday as a part of the White House’s ‘Operation Warp Speed‘ program. It’s the largest award given under the program yet.
The company is aiming to produce 100 million doses of its vaccine by January of next year.
The CEO of Novavax, Stanley Erck, said a large portion of the donation will be spent on phase three of its trial, which it hopes to begin by October.
Navarro Calls On FDA To Reinstate Emergency Use Authorization For Hydroxychloroquine
While speaking to reporters Tuesday, he touted recent studies showing hydroxychloroquine’s effectiveness in lowering the mortality rate of virus patients.
Navarro said that study is different because it focused on treating the virus during its earlier stages.
“The previous studies that have shown no efficacy for this drug have been skewed toward late treatment, the 8 to 14 days when you’re already on your way to dying, and this drug won’t work,” he explained.
“But if you get it within the first seven days when you simply have a fever, dry cough and a profound sense of fatigue…your lungs have not yet turned to glass…the virus has not yet penetrated all your other organs…and it works.”

3 dead, officer injured, in neighborhood dispute sparked by dangerous dog
The gunman is believed to have been a neighbor and dog owner. His dog was ruled dangerous in court earlier in the day.
The shooting reportedly happened when both parties came home from the courthouse.
The officer and deputy both “encountered the suspect inside the home and exchanged gunfire.”
An adult man was found dead inside the garage of the home.
The 13-year-old girl was found critically injured inside the house and was pulled to safety by law enforcement. She was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Tennessee church donates $1,000 to each member of local police department in wake of defund movement
Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church made a “bold statement of support” by giving $1,000 to every member of the town’s police department, totaling $23,000, The Christian Post reports.
“We at Lighthouse believe enough is enough,” Pastor Perry Cleek said in his decision to support law enforcement on the courthouse steps in downtown Jonesborough on July Fourth.
“It’s past time for the silent majority of Americans who do not approve of lawlessness and anarchy in the streets, who do not support any movement that calls for the murder of police officers, who are willing to condemn those who loot and vandalize and destroy both public and private property, to stand tall and firm and let our voice be heard,” the Baptist pastor added.

Dunkin’ to close 450 stores permanently by end of 2020
Though the locations that will be closing are all reportedly located inside Speedway gas stations, and not free-standing cafes.
The big news comes as part of termination of the coffee shop’s partnership with Hess, owner of Speedway gas stations, Today Food reported.
“By exiting these sites, we are confident we will be better positioned to serve these trade areas with Dunkin’s newest Next Generation restaurant design that offers a broader menu and modern experience,” Kate Jaspon, Dunkin’s chief financial officer, told Today of the Speedway locations via email.

Jackson also posted a video on his Instagram Stories relating to Bill and Melina Gates talking about vaccines.
Phoenix police release bodycam video from fatal officer shooting that sparked protests
The footage belongs to an officer who was not involved in the shooting but arrived on the scene to assist in the aftermath, the department said.
The July 4 shooting of James Porter Garcia, 28, sparked protests organized by Black Lives Matter and Poder In Action, Fox 10 Phoenix reported Monday.
The shooting took place as Garcia was sitting in a car in a driveway, according to police.
A cellphone video shot by a bystander that was posted on social media shows officers with guns drawn shouting at Garcia, threatening to shoot him.
Videos show car hitting Indiana protesters who were calling for arrests in alleged attempted lynching
Footage taken by local media later showed the woman being loaded onto a stretcher by first responders who arrived on scene.
As of Tuesday, the driver and a passenger seen in one of the videos getting out of the car and throwing a scooter that had been obstructing its path have not been identified.
In the alleged incident that sparked Monday’s demonstration, Vauhxx Booker, a civil rights activist and member of the Monroe County Human Rights Commission, claimed he was “almost the victim of an attempted lynching” that left him with a minor concussion and some bruises.
California Marines Corps base ends shelter-in-place order, individual treated for ‘self-inflicted gunshot wound’
Military police responded to shots fired at 6:30 a.m. PT at the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Capt. Nicole Plymale, public affairs officer for the base, told Fox News.
There have been no reports of injuries at this time, Plymale said. Military police have the suspect cordoned off and are in contact with him. There is a shelter-in-place order in effect.
A screenshot of a text message security alert sent out at 7:07 a.m. said the entrance to the base and hospital were restricted.

GOP Sen. Ron Johnson backtracks on proposal to replace Columbus Day with Juneteenth
Last week, Johnson, R-Wis., and Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., rolled out a proposal as an amendment to bipartisan legislation introduced by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, that would make Juneteenth a federal holiday.
Johnson and Lankford, in introducing their amendment, said they supported celebrating emancipation with a federal holiday but believed the U.S. “should eliminate a current holiday in exchange.”
But amid criticism, Johnson and Lankford withdrew the amendment, and Johnson proposed a modified amendment to “achieve the same goal” of protecting taxpayers “from the fiscal burden of having to fund an 11th paid holiday for federal employees.”

YouTube runs Trump, Biden campaign ads alongside videos from white supremacists and Russian media
The findings — from the nonprofit Global Project Against Hate and Extremism — showed Trump and Biden ads were displayed alongside videos from Ruptly, a Berlin-based media outlet controlled by the Kremlin, as well as on YouTube channels connected to the so-called Identitarian movement, a trans-Atlantic group of white supremacists.
Neither campaign actively chose to have their ads run against Russia-backed or white supremacist content.
After the report was published, Google said a technical error had allowed ads to run against the white supremacist channel, a glitch that has now been fixed.
White House eyes about $1 trillion for next pandemic relief bill
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, on Monday said that his caucus has discussed a trillion-dollar package and projected that his chamber would pass a final coronavirus relief bill before August.
The House approved a $3.5 trillion relief bill in May that the Senate is not expected to take up. T
he measure extended the $600 unemployment “bonus” payment into next year. It is currently scheduled to expire at the end of the month, and McConnell does not want to extend it.
McConnell supports providing a five-year liability shield protecting businesses and schools that have reopened from coronavirus lawsuits and delivering another stimulus check to those who earn less than $40,000 a year.

He was fired from Kommersant last year after writing an article about the possible resignation of Valentina Matviyenko, the chairwoman of the Russian parliament’s upper chamber.
His dismissal led to a crisis at the paper after all of the journalists in Kommersant’s politics department resigned in protest.
In June 2019, media reports surfaced saying that Kommersant might face administrative lawsuits for making state secrets public.
It was not clear which state secrets had been made public, but one of Safronov’s articles about Russia’s plans to deliver Su-35 military planes to Egypt was removed from the newspaper’s website.
Dutch Police Arrest 6 Men After Discovery of ‘Torture Chambers’
In their statement, officials said they discovered seven converted sea shipping containers in a warehouse in Wouwse Plantage, a small village in the southwestern part of the Netherlands, close to the border with Belgium.
Police say the discoveries were originally made last month after investigating leads generated by data from encrypted telephones used by criminals that were cracked recently by French police. Detectives in Britain and the Netherlands have already arrested hundreds of suspects based on the encrypted messages.
The police said they were tipped off by messages from an EncroChat phone that included photos of the container and dentist’s chair with belts attached to the arm and foot supports.
Trump administration submits notice of withdrawal from World Health Organization
A spokesman for U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres confirmed Tuesday that the organization received U.S. notice to withdraw.
In the course of the same statement, Trump announced a number of measures aimed primarily at China in response to its conduct on a number of fronts including trade, the coronavirus and its recent crackdown on Hong Kong.
