Man was live streaming on Facebook as he looted California business: police
The man, Terion Alexander Jr., was arrested on charges of looting, burglary and conspiracy, according to reports.
In a news release, San Bernardino police spokesman Sgt. John Echevarria said the Facebook Live video “was open to the general public and it showed Alexander and possibly three other subjects proceed” to a Valero gas station.
“Alexander and his associates were seen looting and removing the property from the business,” he said.
Hourslong north Minneapolis standoff after man is shot; suspect flees
SWAT teams and negotiators were at the building on the northwest corner of Broadway and Irving avenues shortly after the gunfire was reported about 8:45 a.m.
Around 1:40 p.m., police realized the suspect had fled and remains at large, said department spokesman John Elder.
“We know who he is,” Elder said. “We will arrest him.”
Google Financially Blacklists The Federalist and ZeroHedge at the Behest of NBC, Leftist Nonprofit
Both websites will now be unable to generate advertising revenue using Google Ads, by far the most important service for any website trying to generate digital advertising revenue.
Google took action after it was contacted by agenda-driven journalists at NBC, who presented the company with research from a leftist nonprofit, the Center for Countering Digital Hate, that smears a number of conservative websites including Breitbart News, and calls on digital advertisers to financially blacklist them.
NBC claims the tech giant said it had demonetized The Federalist and ZeroHedge because of “hatred.”
A spokesperson told NBC that the sites had been kicked off Google Ads over “content that promotes hatred, intolerance, violence or discrimination based on race.”
A California city named for a Confederate general considers changing its name
Fort Bragg, located in Mendocino County on the Northern California coast, will consider the question at an upcoming City Council meeting, a post to the city’s Facebook page says.
“Responding to many requests (some local and many not) that the City of Fort Bragg, California change its name to avoid any connotation associated with Confederate Army General Braxton Bragg,
Fort Bragg Mayor Will Lee would like to announce that at the June 22, 2020 Regular City Council meeting, the City Council will discuss whether to place the question of changing the City’s name on the ballot in November for City residents to decide,” the post reads.
US Air Force identifies F-15 pilot killed in North Sea crash
RAF Lakenheath released a statement confirming the death of 1st Lt. Kenneth “Kage” Allen, assistant chief of weapons and tactics for the 493rd Fighter Squadron.
Allen was flying the F-15 fighter jet in a routine training mission when the crash occurred. The cause is still unknown at this time and is under investigation.
Allen, 27, was a newlywed and had been assigned to the 493rd Fighter Squadron under the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath since February 2020.
Vermont Principal Put On Leave For Not Agreeing With Black Lives Matters
After Tiffany Riley wrote that she does not agree with the BLM, the Mount Ascutney School Board held an emergency meeting to declare that it is “uniformly appalled” by the exercise of free speech and Superintendent David Baker assured the public that they would be working on “mutually agreed upon severance package.”
The case magnifies concerns over the free speech rights of teachers on social media or in their private lives.
So what is the act that uniformly appalled the school board? Riley wrote:
“I do not think people should be made to feel they have to choose black race over human race. While I understand the urgency to feel compelled to advocate for black lives, what about our fellow law enforcement? What about all others who advocate for and demand equity for all? Just because I don’t walk around with a BLM sign should not mean I am a racist (sic).”
Justice Department Launches Online Portal for Reporting Civil Rights Violations
The department said the website called the Civil Rights Reporting Portal consolidates 30 reporting pathways, which is aimed at making it easier and accessible for people to report violations such as unlawful discrimination, harassment, or abuse in any setting.
According to the website, the most common civil rights violations involve discrimination or harassment due to characteristics such as race, disability, religion, sex and gender identity, immigration status, age, marital status, and national origin.
Meanwhile, the department’s announcement also comes against a backdrop of lawsuits and protests against local and state official’s CCP virus lockdown measures that appear to violate constitutional rights and civil liberties.
Bail Out Fund Promoted By Celebs Under Fire After Taking In $30 Mill, Spending Almost No Money On Bail
On Monday, the celebrity-touted Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) posted a message online after facing intense backlash over the bail-out charity’s allocation of funds and lack of transparency.
“Appreciate all those calling for transparency,” the fund posted online Monday. “We see y’all. Our values and mission have not changed since 2016. Be on the lookout for things coming on our end. Be well.”
According to a report from Newsweek, many online have “said that MFF had collected $35 million in donations in recent weeks and spent only a small fraction, prompting ’35 MILLION’ and ‘only 200k’ to start trending on Twitter.”
Seattle business owner says police never responded to a burglary at his shop in the ‘CHOP’ zone
McDermott said early Monday morning he was alerted that his repair shop was being broken into. McDermott and his son drove to the scene while on the phone with 911.
“There were no police officers on scene ever. And I was here all night long,” he said.
McDermott and his son detained the burglar and were able to put out the fire themselves, but eventually, let the man go.
A video, live-streamed online, shows a mob of protesters from the CHOP taking custody of the man and searching him – they also let him go.
Barr orders execution dates for four convicted child murderers, after two-decade hiatus
“The American people, acting through Congress and Presidents of both political parties, have long instructed that defendants convicted of the most heinous crimes should be subject to a sentence of death,” Barr said in a statement.
“The four murderers whose executions are scheduled today have received full and fair proceedings under our Constitution and laws,” he said.
“We owe it to the victims of these horrific crimes, and to the families left behind, to carry forward the sentence imposed by our justice system.”

Footage of the incident, which happened Friday afternoon in Manhattan, begins with the woman traveling in one direction on a sidewalk with the assistance of a pushcart, while the unidentified suspect heads her way.
The suspect in the video was last seen wearing a blue or purple shirt, multicolored shorts and white sneakers.
Police are now offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.

Retail Sales Soar 17.7% in the Biggest Monthly Jump Ever
Retail sales surged 17.7 percent compared with the prior month, according to Commerce Department data released Tuesday, easily beating expectations for an 8 percent gain.
Retail sales are now down 6.1 percent compared with a year ago following the month to month 8.3 percent decline in March and April’s 14.7 percent dive.
Still, the better than expected figures for May indicate that consumers are confident enough about the economy and the pandemic to spend their income.
U.S. Manufacturing Rebound Was Better Than Expected in May
Factory output rose by 3.8 percent, slightly higher than economists were expecting. Most major industries posted increases, the Fed said, with the largest gain registered by motor vehicles and parts.
Output for consumer goods manufacturing rose 3.9 percent. Auto production was up 81.9 percent in May.
Production of furniture, carpeting, and appliances rose 9.4 percent. Clothing maufacturing jumped 21 percent. All categories of consumer goods remain well below the year-ago levels.
‘Leave No Rock Unturned’: FBI And Department Of Justice Will Review Death Of Robert Fuller
The FBI and DOJ announced that they will be reviewing the death of Fuller as well as the hanging death of Malcolm Harsh, which happened 10 days earlier in San Bernardino, California, according to CNN.
Harsh was found hanging from a tree in front of the Victorville public library on May 31 in San Bernardino, per the Guardian.
Harsh had supposedly been living at a nearby homeless encampment, when camp residents cut him down and attempted to assist him when first responders arrived.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office did not recover evidence to suggest foul play, according to the Guardian.

Trump Calls School Choice ‘The Civil Rights Statement Of The Year’
“School choice is the civil rights statement of the year, of the decade and probably beyond,” he said at a White House press conference. “Because all children have to have access to a quality education. A child’s ZIP code in America should never determine their future.”
The president’s comments came after Vice President Mike Pence accused 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden on Tuesday of preventing black parents from obtaining the American dream by blocking them from choosing where their kids go to school.
“Biden says everybody ought to have a fair shot at the American dream,” Pence said on “Fox and Friends.” “We would say, ‘Well, why don’t you support allowing African-American families to choose where their kids go to school?’”
Sen. Tim Kaine: ‘U.S. Didn’t Inherit Slavery, We Created it’
“We need to promote better training and professional accreditation of police departments,” continued Kaine. “Why do we demand that Universities maintain accreditation to receive federal funds, but make no such demands for law enforcement?”
Kaine went on to explain how the first African-Americans that landed in Virginia in 1690, came into a colonies that didn’t have slavery, “there were no laws about slavery at that time.”
“The United States didn’t inherit slavery from anybody, we created it” continued Kaine.

De Blasio was addressing reporters at a press briefing the a day after city workers welded the gates shut around parks in Brooklyn — and Orthodox Jews used bolt cutters to re-open playgrounds in their neighborhoods later the same day.
De Blasio claimed that the city’s policy was to keep playgrounds closed until “Phase Two” of re-opening after the coronavirus pandemic, and warned that people who used playgrounds without permission risked spreading the disease.
He did not explain why he, along with tens of thousands of other left-wing New Yorkers, marched in Black Lives Matter protests or protests on behalf of black transgender people, where social distancing rules were generally not observed.

Sky News host Peter Gleeson says Foreign Minister Marise Payne’s forceful speech in parliament drawing attention to Chinese and Russian misinformation campaigns active during the pandemic was “absolutely fantastic”.
The Australian is reporting “Marise Payne has warned Chinese ‘disinformation’ is underming democracy and creating a ‘climate of fear’, as she committed the nation to a global push to strengthen international rulemaking bodies that are vital to Australia’s security”.
Mr Gleeson said Australian must reject “systemic bullying” from authoritarian regimes.
Vienna police fine man €500 for ‘massive intestinal wind’
The city’s police have defended the fine, saying it was for more than that.
“Of course no-one will be reported for accidentally ‘letting one go’ once,” Vienna’s police department said on Twitter.
Responding after a photo of the charge sheet – issued for “violating public decency” – was shared on social media, the police department said the suspect “had already behaved in a provocative and unco-operative manner” when he was approached by police in the early hours of 5 June.

Chinese Troops Kill Three Indian Soldiers in Himalayas Border Clash
According to the Indian army, the conflict broke out in the Galwan Valley, where India has been building a strategically valuable road that will connect to an airstrip.
China views Indian infrastructure projects as challenges to the balance of power in the contested region, leading to periodic scuffles between the thousands of Indian and Chinese troops massed along the border.
The Times of India described Monday night’s clash as a “massive escalation in the ongoing troop confrontation” in the eastern Ladakh region. The battle was fought with “rods and stones,” leading to “casualties on both sides.”

Victor Davis Hanson: U.S. Is Having A Cultural Revolution, Prepare For A Busy Signal When You Call 911
Historian and Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Monday that the U.S. is “right in the middle of a cultural revolution” and warned, “we can’t look for logic and rationality that doesn’t exist.”
Hanson told host Carlson the officers involved in the fatal shooting of Rayshard Brooksthis weekend were facing a “lose-lose proposition” when they arrived at the scene.
“In the police mentality, here’s this sequence of events that they would have to follow in revolutionary times,” Hanson said….

Rolling Stone Contributing Editor on the Media: “the American left has lost its mind”
Down is up and up is down and everything is crazy now. Which might explain why Matt Taibbi, long-time Rolling Stone contributing editor, is now publicly criticizing the American left and in particular, the media.
Taibbi etched for himself a permanent spot in the annals of right-media scorn when he was brutally critical of Andrew Breitbart shortly after his untimely passing.
Writing not at Rolling Stone, but at Substack, Taibbi called the left a, “cowardly mob of upper-class social media addicts, Twitter Robespierres who move from discipline to discipline torching reputations and jobs with breathtaking casualness.”
Taibbi gives several examples of careers ruined by a movement now eating itself. It was only a matter of time before some of the true believers engaged in enough introspection to see how harmful leftism is not just on media or culture, but for the individuals sacrificed to a movement completely out of control.
