35 Shot, 5 Fatally, over Weekend in Gun-Controlled Chicago
The Chicago Sun-Times reports the shootings included random attacks from armed attackers on foot and in cars.
The weekend violence began around 7:40 p.m. Friday, when someone opened fire from inside a blue pickup and struck a 15-year-old boy. The boy is expected to survive.
The last non-fatal shooting occurred around 4:45 a.m. Monday, while the last fatal shooting of the weekend occurred around 8 p.m. Sunday. The wounded fatality was a 35-year-old man,
The Sun-Times reported 85 shot, 24 fatally, during the last weekend of May 2020.
Three Members of Anti-Government Antifa Group Arrested for Looting: DA
The trio are known members of an anti-government group in Austin called the former Austin Red Guards, police officers said in court documents obtained by The Epoch Times.
The group identifies itself as part of Antifa, a network of local organizations that openly espouse violence against opponents, including reporters and police officers.
Lisa Hogan, 27, Samuel Miller, 22, and Skye Elder, 23, all of Austin, were arrested after an investigation showed they were involved with the damage at a Target in Capital Plaza.
Lawyer Bailed by Former Obama-Era Official Now Back in Jail
Two attorneys arrested for allegedly being involved in a Molotov cocktail attack on a New York City Police Department car returned to jail on Friday after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit granted prosecutors’ request for an emergency stay.
Rahman and Mattis could now face as many as 20 years in prison on federal charges, prosecutors told the New York Post.
Rahman was interviewed before the alleged incident, professing the need to carry out acts of violence to transform society.
Terry Crews tries to promote racial unity, gets told to ‘shut yo coon a** up’
“Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth,” Crews said. “Like it or not, we are all in this together.”
Crews’ message of unity and interracial solidarity was met with immediate backlash from people who decried his suggestion that “black supremacy” results when gatekeepers employ litmus tests to determine who is really a part of the fight for equality.
In response to the vitriolic outrage, Crews clarified that he does not think “black supremacy” exists.
“I was not saying Black supremacy exists, because it doesn’t. I am saying if both Black and Whites don’t continue to work together– bad attitudes and resentments can create a dangerous self-righteousness. That’s all,” Crews explained.

Black Lives Matter advocate Shaun King has called out Democrats for pushing a “generic” campaign to get people to vote.
This comes as King faces scrutiny over his controversial past.

Andy Ngo Files Lawsuit Against Antifa Group In Ore.
Ngo filed a lawsuit against Rose City Antifa last week, which lists several claims such as assault and battery. Last year, he was seen on video being hit and harassed by a group of supposed Antifa members while trying to walk away.
Despite having evidence of that incident, no one has been held accountable.
Ngo suffered a brain hemorrhage from that attack. He claims law enforcement did not do their job in taking action against the Antifa group.
Chicago sees its deadliest day in 60 years with 18 murders in 24 hours: report
The dubious milestone was reached on a day Chicago was roiled by another round of protests and looting following the Memorial Day death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis.
On May 29 and May 30, there were seven murders. In a city with an international reputation for crime, the 25 murders on those three days made for the most violent weekend in Chicago’s modern history, according to the paper.
Chicago’s next most violent day was Aug. 4, 1991, when 13 murders were recorded.
US Customs Seizes Counterfeit Money Originating From China
The seizure took place at a facility that processes express consignment shipments on May 27, according to a June 3 statement by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The shipment of fake bills, which was destined for a residence in Milwaukee, originated from Shanghai.
The fake bills were made of poor material and didn’t have the required watermark, investigators said. In addition, each fake bill had the same serial number and contained Chinese characters in red on the back.

According to the Webster Telegram, Chief Shaw joined a crowd of several hundred demonstrators “in laying on the ground for 8 minutes while screams of ‘mama’ and ’I can’t breathe,’ the last words of George Floyd,” were yelled out.
Protests have been held nationwide, with demonstrators in several locations urging police to join them in “taking a knee.” Some did so; others refused.
However, Shaw went much further than that, and prostrated his entire body on the ground as part of a “die-in” to re-enact Floyd’s death.
Felon Charged with Murdering Retired Police Captain David Dorn in Riots
The St. Louis Police Department announced Sunday that 24-year-old convicted felon Stephan Cannon has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, armed criminal action, and unlawfully possessing a firearm after he allegedly murdered Dorn.
On June 2, according to police, Dorn was guarding Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry in St. Louis while riots, fires, and looting broke out. Surveillance footage, police said, shows Dorn arriving at the pawn shop, which had already been looted by Cannon and other men.
That is when Cannon can allegedly be seen on the footage approaching the corner of the pawn shop with a gun, and it is at this time that Dorn was shot, killed, and left on the sidewalk bleeding.
Man drives into Seattle George Floyd protest, shoots one protester
The suspect was detained and the 27-year-old man who was shot in the arm was taken to hospital by firefighters, police said in a tweet. Officials did not name the shooter or the victim.
Video shared on Twitter by a bystander at the incident showed a man emerging from a vehicle that appeared to have struck a barricade at an intersection.
The driver appeared to be carrying a gun in one hand as he ran into the crowd. The sound of what appeared to be gunshots could be heard on video of the incident from the scene.
Police later tried to disperse the protesters and said some people had thrown projectiles and fireworks at officers, the department said on Twitter. Police said some demonstrators had shone green lasers in officers’ eyes.

Top Minneapolis pol ducks question on how ‘dismantle’ police push would affect crime victims, cites ‘privilege’
Bender has been among the most vocal politicians behind the movement to dismantle the city’s police force in the wake of the May 25 death of George Floyd in the custody of the Minneapolis Police Department.
But on Monday, she struggled to answer a question from CNN’s Alisyn Camerota on what would happen if a person needed help because someone had broken into their home.
“Do you understand that the word, dismantle, or police-free also makes some people nervous, for instance?” Camerota asked. “What if in the middle of [the] night, my home is broken into? Who do I call?”
Democrats Kneel at Capitol, Plan to Unveil Police Overhaul
“We’re here to observe that pain,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, drawing on the nation’s founding with slavery.
“We’re here to respect the actions of the American people to speak out against that,” she said, before kneeling on one knee. “We are here to honor George Floyd.”
According to a draft outline obtained by The Associated Press., the Justice in Policing Act to be unveiled Monday would limit legal protections for police, create a national database of excessive-force incidents and ban police choke holds, among other changes. It outlines the most ambitious changes to law enforcement sought by Congress in years.
Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, which is leading the effort, said called it “transformative.”
Harris Dodges on Defunding the Police
“We need to reimagine how we’re achieving public safety in America,” Harris told The View.
“To have cities where one-third of their entire budget is going to policing, but yet there is a dire need in those same cities for mental health resources, for resources going into public schools, for resources going into job training and job creation. Come on.”
Harris said American communities focus too much on funding police forces instead of other services.
Harris has been touted as a potential running mate for Joe Biden, whose campaign said Monday the former vice president opposes initiatives to defund the police.
Georgia Sees At Least 2,500% Increase In Absentee Voting
Ahead of its primary Tuesday, elections officials by Sunday had received 943,000 ballots — a 2,500 percent increase from the 2016 presidential primary, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Of the 1.2 million who have already voted (a number that includes in-person early voting, which ended Friday), there was close to an even split between Democrats and Republicans, according to the AJC report.
After some debacles in the states that held their primaries last week, election experts are looking to see if Georgia can set the model for how states can quickly scale up their absentee ballot operations for the November election.
Bush Spokesman Says New York Times Claim He Won’t Be Voting for Trump ‘Is Completely Made Up’
“This is completely made up,” Bush’s spokesman Freddy Ford told The Texas Tribune on Monday.
“He is retired from presidential politics and has not indicated how he will vote.”
On Saturday, The New York Times reported that several high-profile Republicans don’t plan on supporting Trump, including Bush.
The paper cited “people familiar with their thinking” for its report, without naming anyone.
The New York Times hasn’t yet updated its article with his statement.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has lifted all domestic COVID-19 restrictions after announcing there were no more active cases of the virus in the country.
Horror as child abuse dungeon where ‘unimaginable’ acts filmed found in Germany
Police have arrested 11 people after uncovering a child abuse ring in Germany.
Investigators found footage of two boys, aged 10 and five, being ‘brutally’ raped by four men during a search of a summer house in Munster, Germany.
It is believed the children were drugged before being abused for hours.
Evidence of the horrific acts was found in a fake ceiling, with officers also seizing more than 500 terabytes of encrypted footage in the basement of the main suspect’s home.
Brussels Burns: Riots Break out at Black Lives Matter Protests in European Union Capital
The agitators set fires, broke storefront windows, and looted stores in Matonge, an ethnically diverse district of the city.
The protest turned violent as rioters attacked police, who were in turn forced to use water cannons to disperse the violent mob, according to the local news outlet 7sur7.
“After the rally, troublemakers and delinquents deliberately provoked the police and destroyed the street furniture.
They then went after stores to rob them like common thieves. I immediately asked the police to disperse the [looters] and arrest them,” said Brussels Mayor Philippe Close.
‘Let’s Not Be Absurd’: Condoleezza Rice Snaps On Russia And China For Using American Protests In Propaganda
During a Sunday morning segment of CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Rice told host Margaret Brennan that she didn’t need a lecture from Russian President Vladimir Putin or Chinese President Xi Jinping on how to handle peaceful protests.
“I would say to those particularly in places like China and Russia and Iran, who may want to use this for propaganda, let’s not be absurd,” Rice replied, recalling the Chinese response to Tiananmen Square, Iran’s response to the Green Revolution and Russia’s invasion of Crimea.
“And I would even say to our friends abroad, in places like Europe, where I’m seeing demonstrations in support of what is happening here, thank you for your support. But please look in the mirror,” Rice continued.

Shelby Steele: George Floyd Protests About ‘Power,’ Being ‘Victims’
Steele told Mark Levin of Fox News Channel’s “Life, Liberty & Levin” that the protests are about “power” and victimhood, which he said has led to black people in the United States feeling “entitled.”
“I think that what is really happening is nothing really new.
The civil rights argument that triggered this, that there was police abuse and so forth, was a very familiar story — we saw that in Ferguson, Missouri, and elsewhere. It seems to me that in many ways, it’s about power,” Steele explained.
“And in order … to pursue power as they do, you have to have victims.
And my god, George Floyd is the archetypal victim, and the whole incident of his murder is sort of a metaphor for the civil rights agenda and the grievance industry agenda.
America Is In A Cultural Civil War
The country was largely unified when we all saw the terrible video of George Floyd’s tragic death – unified in anger and frustration, in wanting justice and punishment for a cop who, whatever his motivation, went too far and murdered a citizen for the crime of passing a counterfeit bill. Ever since then, we’ve been coming apart.
The cultural civil war that has been simmering underneath the surface is now boiling.
The images of woke white protesters brought to their knees across the country, apologizing to the mob for sins they did not commit, is jarring and disturbing.
Many of us warned this would happen after a decade of the Ivy Leagues churning out these aggressively woke children.
