How good is that? It’s the fastest spurt of U.S. growth in three years.
More good news: Adjusted pretax corporate profits rose 4.3% to an annualized $2.22 trillion, marking the biggest gain in a year.

A verdict is due in the trial of five men accused of gang-rape during the running of the bulls festival in Pamplona last year, in a case where it appeared to many of the alleged victim’s supporters in Spain that she was on trial.
The men, who styled themselves as “la Manada” (the Pack), offered to accompany the woman to the car but instead hauled her into a doorway where it is alleged all five proceeded to rape her while filming the attack on their phones. They then stole her phone and left, it is alleged.
2 Americans who bared butts at Bangkok temples are arrested
Two American men who were reportedly honeymooning in Thailand were detained after they shared photos of their exposed butts taken at two famous Bangkok temples.
The pair, Joseph and Travis DaSilva of San Diego, both 38, were arrested at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok on Tuesday, just days after they uploaded photos of their bared backsides to Instagram, the Bangkok Post reported; the photos were taken at Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn) and Wat Pho temples.

Entertainers, media elites and much of the political left think it is time to say goodbye to our traditional values and morals. We are told that these values are old-fashioned and no longer serve an enlightened, politically correct society.
Indeed, one wonders when people will learn. In today’s subjective, post-modern world truth is fast disappearing. Some elites and social engineers deride concepts like right and wrong.
There are no moral absolutes, we are told – well, apart from whatever happens to be politically correct at the moment. Logic, reason and facts have been trumped by identity politics and false narratives.
