“This year’s Politicon in Pasadena, CA was just as interesting as expected. With 10,000 attendees from all areas of the the political spectrum, it was a generally positive, energetic, and uplifting experience. Sally Kohn posted selfie with Ann Coulter; if that doesn’t say bi-partisan, I don’t know what does.
However, the weekend would not be complete without a few insanely ignorant and backwards outbursts from social justice warriors. One in particular stuck out the most.” More here.> Leftists Dressed as Nazi Soldiers, Because…Trump?
“The war for health care rights against big government has ended for Charlie Gard, and for all freedom loving people in this world.
On July 28th, 2017, Charlie Gard died after he was the subject of a deadly courtroom fight between the British Courts and his parents, who wanted to get Charlie care that the National Health Service of Great Britain could not provide. From the time Charlie was diagnosed with a rare disease, MDDS, he was considered by the British government to not be under the care and jurisdiction of his parents, but of the government.
When Charlie Gard’s options seemed to disappear, as his condition was not reacting to the different treatments that the National Health System provided, his parents decided to go abroad and try legal experimental treatment in the United States. However, his parents had no legal “control”over their child, to do so. As stated on the NHS website: “Although Charlie’s parents have parental responsibility, overriding control is by law vested in the court exercising its independent and objective judgment in the child’s best interests.” More here.> The Public Healthcare Nightmare
